You need to add the following to the saved list:
Rick - very first episode
2 ppl in the woods (one on crutches) that were about to be taken out by a walker. The girl thanks him, he lets them go on their way, and then returns to help Eastman bury Tabitha.
Daryl & Aaron - Caught in the Wolves trap. Morgan had no reason to save them, other than his new philosophy on all life is precious.
You can't get much better than Rick and Daryl on your saved list.

ah yes, he did save those two ppl in the woods. I didn't count Rick only cause it was before Morgan finally left his house. Thanks for the correction.
for Pilgrim: I was talking about after Eastman. So..red hood and part of the town. He left the 2 guys go that killed red hood guy and help allow them to find the photos of the town. Then he let the 4/5 others leave town. Those clowns went out and almost killed Rick. They didn't but it did make a lot of AK fire to bring the walkers near him. So now Rick is running away with a flood of walkers chasing him. Rick ran to town and the walkers came with him. Would the walkers make it to town maybe with out Rick leading them? Sure most likely. But it's chain reaction of Morgan's choices that cause things to go certain ways.

I'm starting to get a little irritated with the way this season is being written. There was a lot of time wasted on Deanna and Spencer last night, just kill them off already! Frankly I don't see that she has anything left to offer. AN ex-politician? She should have been tossed over the wall in the 1st episode of the season. The story seems to be moving very ponderously, and Glenn's "death" will be totally anti-climactic when it is finally resolved. Where the hell is Carl? A two minute pansy pushing match and then he disappears for the rest of the episode. ( I was really hoping for a fight 
) Rick says he's going to look for him but instead he decides to teach another kid to shoot? Wouldn't he have been more concerned about his son trying to sneak over the wall? The next time we see him he's saving Deanna (waste of time). I find myself beginning to lose interest, just too many uninteresting people in the show, and writing holes that don't seem to make sense. It could be because I watched the entire series as a marathon this summer and I'm not used to waiting a week (or 3!) for plot resolution, I would just wait until the end and check it out on disc but I'm obligated to continue with this by threat of force.

I liked the fact they focused on Deanna, and whatever the hell she is going through right now. I also liked the fact it showed Spencer cheating the system and manipulating the people so he could further his own greed. These are 2 things that are going to set up for a BIG blow-up in Alexandria. I like when shows play the long-game... just so long as they make the resulting consequences as monumental as it is staged to be.

The problem with the show is that often when they play the long game, the conclusion is anti-climax. Two examples: Tyrese just forgives Carol. All that simmering tension wasted. Another: Terminus. They spend a whole season walking there (boringly), and then BAM! No more Terminus. Next thing!
Sometimes the long game pays off (Shane, the Gov), but...the show's writers need to balance the need to maintain narrative momentum with their long term plans. This season started off soooooo well and now you can practically hear the engine coughing to a halt. Yes, they need to temper the action with quieter moments, etc, but good grief, quieter character moments don't have to be tedious (I liked the Donatello episode, for instance).

the sewer walkers roused me from my nap for a minute anyway and at least Maggie realized they could not leave a way into the town unlocked and unguarded..... eventually .

I thought the wolf guy that Morgan let go during the fight had Rick's gun that he put in the blender. Looked like the same gun!

I rather enjoyed this episode over all, there were some really good character moments and I thought that it did a decent job with dealing with the aftermath of the Wolf attack and half of the zombie horde at their walls. But watching the way the people there are pissing and moaning and complaining about their impending doom made me think that, once again, Rick isn't exerting enough leadership. Instead of just delivering a speech he should have started organizing everybody and put them to work patrolling the wall perimeter to make sure there are no weak spots showing or forming, reinforcing the walls everywhere even if it really doesn't need it, set patrols to make sure that all of the dead inside the walls (both residents and Wolves) are accounted for and, if need be, properly taken care of, others could be put to work to try work on making areas more suitable for gardening, and lastly, come up with ways of thinning out the horde that don't involve shooting them. All of this would not only serve a practical purpose of making Alexandria stronger and more secure it would also have a secondary, psychological benefit as well, it would keep the people busy doing something which would in turn take their minds off of their troubles, even if only for a time. You keep them too busy working to think about what might happen and you might actually end up making Alexandria even more survivable and maybe even actually come up with a way of thinning out that herd at their walls.
It was kind of funny in a black comedy way how Maggie and Aaron are having this heart to heart over her feelings in a soap opera like drama moment with the backdrop of walkers at the sewer gate.
What was the blood running down the walls at the end? Was that supposed to be from the walkers getting crushed as an early warning sign that there getting too much piled up, or was that possibly blood from one of the guards up on the wall who was either taken out, or took themselves out (possibly Spencer?)

I caught that, but wasn't sure of the significance. I imagine that some of the ones in front are slowly getting pressed into zombie paste by those behind them.
If only someone would have realize that the buttresses should have gone on the inside of the wall...

I believe I read or heard that this season, or at least the first half, would all take place on the same day. Seems like what they're doing so far, anyways, with next episode focusing on Daryl's crew.

You're right, they probably might be be better off if they got rid of some of the dead weight (no pun intended) inside the walls of Alexandria. But, considering how low morale is already you'd probably have a full blown mutiny and riot if Rick started to get rid of some of the more useless residents of Alexandria. With the walls being completely surrounded making for now way out of town you can't even simply send people people out on scavenging missions or patrols in hopes they'll get themselves killed and having the problem take care of itself.

I enjoyed this one. My main issues were Rick shouting his whole "sit it out and be quiet and keep the lights off"speech, right next to the corrugated wall with 20 deep walkers on the other side. And then having people standing on top of the wall keeping look out in full view of all the walkers, like a set of golden arches. Like they couldn't sit behind another bit of corrugated iron with a hole cut out or even wear a sheet with peep holes cut out.
