The Walking Dead Season 5 Discussion (Spoilers)

Place your bets, who buys it in this episode? My guess is Carol. That guy beating his wife had a casserole that Carol handed him so I'm guessing he smashes her over the head with it.

Again, if someone is dumb enough to read a thread about The Walking Dead TV Show (Marked Spoilers, already in the title) and then complain if they trip over a spoiler, they're out of their damned mind anyway.

Seriously, let's stop trying to protect people from their own stupidity. :facepalm

If I don't want to know what happened on 'Any" show, the last thing I'm gonna do is read a thread about it on an entertainment forum! I mean, what else are people gonna talk about on it?? Shocker! **** what happened on the show!

That's like walking into a sports bar 20 minutes after the big game and getting pissed because a couple guys are discussing the final score.

That said, I say Carol bites it!

Might want to edit your post since its a spoiler.

Well in the comics, he doesn't make it too far after reaching ASZ

I haven't watched but a couple of episodes this season, so I won't hazard a guess, I will speculate that Rick's gonna have one hell of a headache when he wakes up, Michonne thumped him a good one.

i am dissapointed...........i was hoping for some real deaths.....morgan was the only highlight

The commercials did a nice job of misdirection for this ep. I thought Rick would be exiled for sure. Carol continues to steal my heart. "Children like stories." OMG. Bring on season 6!!!

BTW, SOOOOOOO glad they didn't lamely kill someone for the sake of killing someone. I'm still annoyed about Beth's random, lame, dramaless death. They did the right thing. Was the guy in the beginning with Morgan Neegan (sp?)?

I agree. But I still put spoiler tags on everything, just in case if they were stupid enough to come into the topic in the first place.

I see Michonne's blade is still sharp.

That death felt a bit forced, but necessary

I sort of agree. But I think it was a set up of irony. The irony is that Deanna's arrogance is what lead to the death of her husband. If she had listen to Rick in the first place about Pete, then this whole situation could have been avoided. But, due to not listening to him, lead to what Rick having to beat the living sense out of Pete, Pete retaliating and her husband dying for her to see that Rick is right.

My thoughts exactly. The show is very good highlighting those issues metaphorically.

Not as well as Breaking Bad, but close.

Go Glenn!

Go Carol!

I think the show try to keep at least one hated/disliked person on the cast for awhile for some reason.
I was hoping "Mr. Clean" (Padre) was going to bite the dust in lackluster style, but nnnnnoooooooooo!

All I know is that Melissa (Carol) is hot for her age!

Right? I usually chase the twenty-somethings, but I'd break my rules for Melissa M!

I too wish Gabriel had bit it. But maybe they're saving him for something great. The show works better when the group has no sanctimonious pseudo-conscience slowing them down (Hershell, Tyrese) so I'm glad he didn't slip into that role. He's clearly meant to be reviled.

Side note: talking to others makes me realize how much this show reveals about the viewers. My adoration of Carol and Crazy Rick pretty much lays bare my Machiavellian side...
