Daryl is 1st ever to not look to see what's behind door #1..no it's not 5ft something dog knocking. Also poor style of not checking out the whole house nor blocking doors.

Yeah, Daryl got rather complacent in that episode didn't he? Talk about letting your guard down, he totally assumed that it was the dog at the door the second time and didn't even notice that you could totally see some walkers through the glass on the door. I also have to wonder why he chose to have Beth simply toss him his crossbow instead helping push the door closed on the walkers, it's not like they haven't done that in the past although granted there were never quite so many, still, no apparent effort to close the door.

By the end of the third episode they will all reach Terminus, and then we will have to wait for the second half of the season to start. I'm wondering if Terminus is home to cannibals. What better way to get food delivered right to your front door, leave signs telling survivors it's sanctuary....

Interesting idea, I never thought of that, although I doubt it will be full of cannibals it will almost certainly not be what the people on the show think it is, if it's even there any more.

I'm guessing whoever was in the car that drove away with Beth is probably the same person that has been killing people and putting signs on them like "Liar" etc..

Second half? We're in the second half of Season 4 now. We will have to wait until Season 5 to likely find out what happens when they reach there.

I'm betting that Daryl is going to see something of Rick's, Michonne's, or Carl's on those guys and have to kill most of them.

I wonder if Beth will have a song for being abducted?

Was a pretty good episode. No surprise the guys that Rick had his close call with turned up (as we all expected). Kinda wondering if Terminus is legit or if its a trap.

No, I don't think that the early warning system was removed, I seem to recall it going off the second time as well. The sequence of events, as I recall, went like this: Daryl & Beth are talking, they hear the EWS go off, Daryl goes to answer the door, hears barking as he opens the door, sees the dog, dog takes off & Daryl notices horde of walkers on the front porch right behind the dog, and we all know what happens after that.

When Beth held Daryl's hand I was like: "Oh nonono, you don't go…", I don't knew what to make out of it. So, Beth is abducted and Daryl winds up with the guys, that went to Ricks temp home… this is gonna be good till the end of the season. Gaaah! I can't wait for season 5 to come.

Later, the second time, both he and Beth hear the Dog barking and didn't notice the dog's yelp, but hear the clanking of the early warning system. Daryl makes a comment about "giving the dog a chance". He goes to the door, doesn't look out because he thinks its the dog. Opens the door, face full of Walkers, slams it on them, tries to keep them out, Beth gives him is crossbow, they get in, Daryl telling Beth to go around to get out while he distracted them. He leads them downstairs, Beth gets outside. Daryl dispatches the Walkers in the downstairs area, gets back upstairs and out of the house, finds Beth's bag and sees the car speeding away.

For the most part I'd say that our timelines match up pretty closely, the main difference is in when I thought Daryl heard the dog bark and I thought that there was a brief moment after Daryl opened the door and saw the dog before the walkers mobbed the door.

When Daryl opened the door on the second time, it was an instant swarm, no dog was seen, only heard (it's barking than yelp of pain, then silence). The only time we see the dog was the first time around.

IIRC correctly, in the interviews I've heard/read, they said they that one of the main characters who has not been killed in the comic books will be killed off.

Not to say they couldn't still kill Glenn, but since he was killed in the comics, that leaves another main character to go. Michonne? Daryl? Rick? Carl? Maggie? Bob? Not sure who else is left since Carol, Glenn, Tyrese have all been killed in the comics
