The Walking Dead Season 4

great points, things seem to be rolling towards the , direction it came from , but it is a slow season to be sure, I have a feeling some key members will disappear very soon.....just saying...LOL

You know, I couldn't help but notice how convenient it was that suddenly the Governor had more people to use as cannon fodder. Rick and the crew should just walk away and leave all the sick people there and let the plague do it's work on the invaders.

Yeah it looked like a M60. It does matter if it's armed. You can approach and attack and unarmed tank, you can't do that as easily if it has functioning machine guns. I would also guess that the Governor's guys had more than one shoulder launched missile with them since they fired one at a tower. Of course that would be too easy so I'm sure the writers will say that was the only one they had.

While that's definitely true it only matters if you actually have something to hurt the tank with, unless you can actually hurt the tank then it serves no purpose to approach it. Besides, that tank isn't alone, it has what amounts to infantry accompanying it who would be able to help repel boarders.

One change from the comic to TV that they really missed out on is Andrea. In the comic she's their biggest asset. She's the sniper and she's bad ass. I can't help but think that would have been a great choice to keep in the show

She also has "relations" with Dale. Ick.

I think Daryl became that character.

Their best bet regarding the tank is time, wait it out. As bad as they are scraping by for fuel, it's not likely the tank has much to do much. They're hardly fuel efficient.

Not a bad idea although it is an M60 with a diesel engine and a 300 some odd gallon tank which means that while its gas mileage is no Prius it's going to be a lot better than an M1 with its gallons to the mile and with the size of its tank its going to be able to go pretty far on one tank of gas. Factor that with how little of a problem gas seems to be on the show I don't think that that tank is going to run out of gas any time soon.

Speaking of tanks, I think I've figured out what kind of tank they used in S1, I don't think it was a dressed up M60 like I originally did, I'm now fairly certain that it was an Israeli variant M60 called the Magach. It looks exactly like the tank Rick hid in, an M60 with an M1 like front hull & turret. http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/9/9e/Magach-7-latrun-2.jpg

Maybe they have a rpg or shoulder rocket at the prison now. They do seem to have a ton of guns and ammo. They could have taken one of army truck or found one at a crazy army surplus store who owned is beyond crazy since the Cold War.

Well they should, but will the writers allow it? They had all of the Governor's vehicles they left behind and I doubt that if you only had one shoulder launched missile that you'd use it on the watchtower.

I still think it's a Chieftain. Com pair the lights on the front and the lockers on the left side.

Did hey use a rocket/rpg on the watch tower? Can't recall if it was a 203 multi launcher or off a assault rifle.

Yes, they used it on two of them in fact.

Correction: one was one of those multi-launcher jobs, the other was a single launcher.

Gas has been a problem, they've not mentioned it every episode though. It's highly unlikely that it'll be topped off and have a full gas tank.

Yeah,it would probably be a bit difficult to scrounge up 300 gallons of diesel but it is a diesel which means that it still should get relatively recent gas mileage. Also being a diesel means that it should be able to run on just about anything combustible although I don't know if you to do anything special to get non-diesel fuels to run in a diesel engine and if so, do they teach how to do it in tanker school.
