The Walking Dead Season 4

I don't see them going to DC. They've already been to the CDC and we know how that turned out. Nobody but Abraham will buy Eugene's story after hearing him talk for a day. The guy lived in his mom's basement before the zombie apocalypse. Based on some of Glenn's reactions in the finale, I am pretty sure he already figured that out.

I'm hoping Eugene comes up with something a bit convinving, enough to get them the DC, mainly because I want to see them back in an urban area. Densely populated cities means massive walker hoards etc and a whole new set of survival skills. I've had enough of them hiding out in the woods.

The Eugene character seems too unrealistic to me. Unless he turns out to be a massive liar. Who you can tell is full of it. I know people like him in real life haha.
Thoroughly enjoying this series. Can feel that burning question in my head though of weather there gonna take it all to far. The series isnt much about knowing what caused it. Its just all been about survival.
Some things just seem to tail off after a while.

Anyone watch the following? Loved the first season. Shouldve stopped there. I know money wise it wasnt going to happen. But im fed up of the second season.

Once Rick goes Rambo on Terminus and take them out, which I believe it will take about 3 or 4 episodes, he'll realize it's not a safe, secured place.
Those fences don't look like they can hold a herd of walkers back. And speaking of walkers, they're weren't any around, not even a stragler.
Now to D.C.. What would be the fastest safe way to go? Duh! They're at a train station. Load up a cart with all the supplies and guns.
But can a herd of walkers on the the tracks derail a train? They stopped a POS car. And another character death scene: a track switch has to be done manually,
someone has to jump off to save the group.
And I heard rumors of a spin-off series. How about this scene: Manhatten Island? The bridges are barracaded. Building to build sweeps of walkers.
Random out breaks of walkers within. Central Park becomes farm land. And also trying to keep the people humanized. Trying to keep justice.
So many possibilities. Just some ideas

I think The fences did have wooden spikes all across the front of them.

You haven't played The Walking Dead: The Game by Telltale Games, have you? In one of the episodes, the characters find a train that is still functional, found the start up sequence list and got the sucker rolling in order to get to Savannah. The perk was that it was practically unstoppable when it came to hordes of zombies. The downsides? 1. they had to stop for anything that couldn't be plowed through (in the game, there was a gas tanker truck that was on an overpass, and it's trailer was hanging off right over the railroad and in the path of the train, which mean they couldn't just plow through it). 2. The fact that there are no other sounds in the world, and the fact the train rolling down the tracks attracted every Walker to the train tracks all the way to Savannah. Even though the group got a few hours worth of a lead on the horde that had followed the track, hours later, they showed up at Savannah because they followed the track until there was a mega-herd throughout the streets (you know that Mega-Herd that they encountered on the run to the college in the first half of the season? Times it by three, and you get a bit of an idea on how big the horde was in Savannah).

My point is this: no vehicle is ever going to be good enough. A train would have to stop for any possible obstruction that could cause severe damage to itself, and from mid-Georgia to Virginia would end up creating a mega horde that at minimum would be five times the size we've seen Daryl, Michonne, Bob and Tyreese encountered, if not more than five times that.

Manhatten Island was used in I Am Legend, so though a good idea, people would just draw too many parallels between the works. If anything, I'd guess for a spin-off, we could see something happening somewhere in the central to west coast of the U.S. I mean, we know the zombie plague is world-wide, so there's more to this story than just Georgia.

Yes, thought of Legend and even Escape from. Another local would be an island like Hawaii, but then you have to deal with 5-O. But here's a big thought,
and really freck out the world of television,,, how about Masada fortress? Walkers can't climb (But they can walk up stairs, just not down them.)
It could still have all the drama and hardship of Manhatten

How about they just leave it at one and dont over do it. Theyre never happy just having success are they? Assuming the rumour is true.

I'm a bit confused about this place as well. The fences dont equate to much and even if they did, these people don't even lock them. Walkers tend to follow their food. If people made it there, it seems like the walkers would've followed.

It seems kind of foolish to broadcast your where abouts to the whole world, so precisely. I would think that a large band of murderous thieves would also assume there could be another band of murderous thieves out there willing to take what they have?

My theory on giving the guns back was that they were sizing them up. They knew how tooled up they were, the terminus people obviously have more guns so to me it seems they were figuring out how much a threat they'd be.

It's also a good way of lulling any victims, er, I mean guests, into a false sense of security and to get them to let their guards down. It may not be an entirely realistic expectation in the world of the Walking Dead but in a normal world you'd probably likely think that if you met a new group of people who told you disarm yourselves and frisked only to give your weapons back right after were probably good to go since if they were up to something they wouldn't have given you your weapon back.

While it wouldn't initially impact us the way The Walking Dead show does, I would be interested to see a spinoff based on a different location maybe in the West. Maybe Zombies in Seattle feasting on spoiled Starbucks coffee or something. HAHA!

Of course a spinoff might hurt the franchise because the state of things elsewhere is unknown compared to where Rick's group is at now. That could be a mess, but there a lot of stories that could be told in this world of survival horror.
