The Walking Dead Season 3

I was so bored watching last nights episode...I think (for me) the show may have really jumped the shark...I will give it ONE more episode to redeem itself but it's just not tripping my trigger anymore.

Greg worked on Day of the Dead w/ Savini. His first apprenticeship.

Yeah, I know about Day but Airport Zombie was from Dawn. I know Greg offered high quality busts of the Airport zombie awhile ago too which he autographed, were really nice.

I thought last nights episode was the best they have shown in a long time. The make ups were awesome, the story didnt drag, and stuff actually happened. They are dragging out the Governor though, I want this story arc to end so they can move on.

As long as they don't move onto the story arch in the book

Loved the Airport Zombie cameo! I thought Greg Nicotero worked along side Tom Savini in the original DOTD since he does the effects for TWD but I guess I was mistaken. Still cool to see none the less. Can't wait until next week, that preview was sick when he hit the guard tower with the grenade launcher.

Day of the Dead was Greg's first apprenticeship under Tom Savini but he actually met him on the Dawn of the Dead set. Greg and his family were on vacation and he and his brother saw George Romero eating lunch next to them and he invited them to the set where they met Tom.

Yeah...it would appear that that zombie had no spine...and suuuuuure...I'm sure you could just bite someone's fingers right off through the bone...

:facepalm

Theoretically Michonne could've gotten lucky and got the walker right in between vertebrae and that probably would've allowed her to cut through the neck.

As fore the hand thing, maybe the Governor just has extra strong teeth and jaws or the hand was very weak from a lack of calcium. :D

I didn't rewind the DVR or go back to look - but, I'm fairly sure I saw Merle's blade bend like a rubber blade at one point during the episode.

Can you imagine if Merle would've actually killed The Governor and then Andrea or someone else was left to lead Woodbury? Now that would've been a shocker and totally thrown everyone for a loop... and left fanboys and gals with their panties in a bunch.

I'm also gonna go out on a limb and say they kill Rick off next episode. It would be stupid of them to do so... but, I just think they're going to do it.

Yeah, I saw it too. It happened when he got knocked to the ground in the fight with the Governor.

Oh, I just had to save this one. Whatever your having, I'll have a double.

If you're going to complain about that, might as well complain about the fact that gasoline in the zombie apocalypse doesn't separate and go bad in a years time but it will if I leave it in my lawn mower over winter. :lol

Just watched the episode. This is the first time all season that an episode has actually moved me to tears (and I'm kind of easy when it comes to getting the waterworks to turn on).

The scene with Herschel and Glenn got me a little teary, but seeing Daryl's reaction to Merle's zombification was what really did me in. Norman Reedus did a FANTASTIC job selling Daryl's devastation in the face of his brother's fate. I'm cautiously hopeful that this new showrunner can get things back into shape.
