And AGAIN Michonne doesn't bother to say ANYTHING to Andrea. Not 'look Andrea, the Governor is keeping zombified heads in these aquariums. See that pilot guy's head in the tank? And he's got a zombified daughter around. And he sent people out to kill me when he said I could peaceably leave the town. Do you still think he's a good guy?'

Man, Michonne needs her ass kicked for not talking about what she knows. A friend said the only way she seems to be able to communicate is through hissing and doesn't even do that very well.

Also, they have a tendency to kill off black characters the moment a new black character shows up. I think Tyrese, if he's smart, should kill any black people he sees to make sure he doesn't end up next.

Also, Michonne's hatred of the governor just doesn't track properly without him having spent all that time raping her. She's made trying to kill him personal without anything really justifying it.

Michonne's lone wolf act would not work in that social dynamic!
This group that is barely surviving have given Michonne leeway to prove herself but she insists on stepping away when it's convenient with no attempt at an excuse. She's playing out a weak revenge scenario. Michonne will be lucky if Rick doesn't toss her to the walkers.

I think there was no explaination needed in that scene as it said soo much already

Well there was still plenty of other things to mention that wasn't self explanatory in that scene. A few pop to mind:

1) The Governor sent Merle to kill me after I left the town. BIG thing to mention, and would probably have swung Andrea to disbelieving the Governor.
2) The Governor killed the National Guardsmen and took their stuff.
3) The Governor has two of your friends here, Maggie and Glenn.

ANY OF THESE ITEMS WOULD HAVE CHANGED THE OUTCOME OF THAT SCENE.

Regarding the Andrea and Michonne reunion, I do agree Michonne should have said something, but I'm sure she is feeling a little hurt and bitter being the person who's life she saved, and kept alive the entire winter is now pointing a gun at her head and not lowering...

Honestly, I like the fact she didn't say anything. Why? Because of the fact that the zombie heads in tanks and a zombified and exterminated Penny says enough. Andrea seeing those things shows exactly how wrong she is, and Michonne just allowed for what she sees back up what she's told Andrea countless times already.

Except as I just pointed out, the fact that Merle and the Governor has their friends captive and the Governor tried to kill her by sending Merle after her is not at all visible in the room with the Zombie TV and zombie girl. Those are things Michonne NEEDS to mention to Andrea.

On the third one: I'm actually wondering if Michonne honestly hasn't made the connections between the various factions. My bet is that she just doesn't realize it's the same group of people.
On the first two: maybe it's her way of coping. Isolating herself from Andrea and refusing to tell her about any event she wasn't a part of could be Michonne's way of protecting herself emotionally.

They had six months together, Andrea doesn't seem like the kind that can keep her mouth shut. I'm sure she had to have mentioned to Michonne about what's been going on with her life recently, and Michonne probably hissed back.

You're making assumptions based on conjecture. Astrokid248 is right, we haven't been shown anything that corroborates that Michonne even knows who Rick's group even is. They barely even used names around her.

I believe the term for this is "dramatic irony", where we as the viewers are privy to information that the characters are not. It's not an oversight or bad writing. It's good storytelling.

Michonne of the comics wasn't the most talkative sorts, I'll grant you that, but this is just getting stupid how little she talks. Not talking to Rick when she arrived at the Prison and after being helped saying she didn't ask for his help, saying absolutely nothing about what she's discovered about the Governor to Andrea, that's just stupid on her part as a character. It's not that we're privy to information she doesn't have, she's intentionally holding back information, but wanting people to change their behavior without telling them why.

That's dumb.

I think you're forgetting about the state of the world, and that you can't immediately trust people you run into and tell them everything you know. You remember that group of marauders that Rick and Glenn and Hershel ran into back in season 2? Imagine what Michonne and Andrea went through with just the two of them.

I agree. Just like when they found those prison inmates held up in the cafeteria of the prison and most of them including the spanish leader dude turned out to be pycho. Oscar and the redneck were harmless yet the group had to build up their trust.

In an zombie invested world where everyone is fighting for themselves, trust becomes the #1 issue....well, that and chopping zombies heads off.

I thought this episode had some bad writing in it. First Michonne let's Penny out of her cage, despite hearing zombie noises inside. Then she unlocks her chains, despite hearing zombie noises inside. Finally she removes the hood, despite hearing zombie noises inside. Someone that dumb wouldn't have survived that long.

In the fight with the Governor, I thought it didn't fit how Michonne is portrayed. She had several opportunities to kill him and she kept letting him get ahold of her. That's something that really ticks me off in tv shows when a person who positively, absolutely needs to be removed from the world is constantly allowed to go free when they have the drop on them.

The final scene I thought had bad writing was when Tyrese's group came into the prison and Carl locked them in. Now granted he may not know the adult way to handle that situation other than he knows to separate them. They should have had an adult, let's say Hershel since he was right there, tell the new group that they need to make sure who they are and whether they're good people before they let them in. Just a sentence or two. They just lock them in, say you have food/water, and walk away. So yeah if I was them I would be looking to take them (Rick's group) out if they're locking me up.

Andrea really needs to die. She's too stupid to live.

How did you come to this conclusion? It didn't seem like the governor was trying to convince Daryl of anything, more like convince the Woodbury residents that they need to kill them two.

Alot of people keep saying that Michonne is not talking up enough, I know myself that when I meet total strangers that I don't blab my life story to them you feel people out, and especially in the W.D. setting you really have to feel people out to find out who they are and it doesn't help when you get locked up right away or have guns pointed at you, yeah that really breaks the ice and makes you feel welcomed Lol.

I haven't gone back to watch any of season 1 but other than the episode where Daryl was hallucinating his brother the two of them haven't actually had any screen time together until this episode have they?
