Nice! I got a good laugh out of that one.

Oh yeah I didn't mean I'm curious why there are so many names, I fully understand why, I was just wondering if there were anymore I couldn't remember.

Ok, I totally misunderstood your question.

I think you about covered it although I haven't actually seen most of season 2.

GUYS...is Penny his Daughter or the girl that showed the 2 ladies around when they got to Woodberry and then was seen in the Govs bed...she has not been seen since?

She's his daughter, but in the comics.....

When they came out with Rise of the Governor, we find out the Gov's name isn't Phillip Blake, but Brian Blake. Phillip was the name of his younger brother who died and Penny was his brothers daughter.

Possible big spoiler of someone who joins the cast during the season finale......
I've been sitting on this for a bit, but it seems a few sites are starting to report it based on a comment from the actor. Apparently Chad Coleman (The Wire) will appear in the season finale as Tyreese. He was seen filming in Senoia (Woodbury)last month. I haven't confirmed this, but a bunch of people saw him on set.

If true, than its gonna be awesome.

THANKS!!! it was weird in the last episode when Mishone(spelling) was in the Govs room and said"what about Penny" The Gov. then said..."you know about Penny...then you know I loved her very much" weird thing to say about your Daughter, of course you love her!
Strange!

The Penny thing leads me to ask this question.

Do Zombies feel pain?

Penny was pretty motionless while the Gov was brushing her hair, but...
When he ripped the chunk of hair/skin off, she went crazy.

Do they feel pain? Sure seemed like it.

Thought that myself...she was very relaxed before that happened

It makes sense in a different context.

Michonne is bluffing in that moment. She gets that the name "Penny" is important, but really she doesn't know what's behind that door. Not conclusively, anyway (otherwise she'd probably have decapitated Penny). So, she says that, and the Governor says "You know about her?" with an element of fear. he doesn't want Michonne either "killing" her or exposing her existence to the community.

I think so, but not in the ways humans do. For example, they keep coming when you empty a pistol into their chests. So, pain, I think, is another sensory input, but it has a different meaning for them than for humans. It doesn't signal "STOP. BAD. HARMFUL." Pain in humans is a signifier of damage or threats and in a sense is "ranked" based on the threat to the body.

For example, a papercut doesn't hurt as much as a broken bone. Why? Because it's less of a "threat" to a person. If you assume that nothing that the zombie feels other than destroying its brain is a threat, then it'd make sense that they'd "notice" things that'd otherwise cause pain, but that the pain wouldn't "matter."

I was wondering that myself, I just assumed they didn't but in that case I just assumed it was from the Gov brushing her hair and when it snagged on her scalp she reacted.

And by deduction...
Oscar will probably get killed in the last one or two episodes since apparently the writers can only write for one leading black guy at a time it seems.

Heres a shot for next weeks episode

The spoilers don't bother me since I don't read them. I'd prefer it however that if someone is going to respond to said spoilers, that they either be as vague as possible or they put spoiler tags around their response because I've seen it a few times where someone read the response and then posted about it and I may as well have just read the spoiler myself because while they didn't outright say it, I still put two and two together.

Also mirror, maybe leaving out the subject of some of the more important spoilers would be really appreciated.

Well I finally finished the first 5 episodes of season three after watching one and two on Netflix, and now it's time to wait a week every damn time :angry

I'm still pissed T-Dog died, and I can't believe that Hershel survived after he got bit/had his leg cut off with a hatchet. Then there was Lori, and Andrew Lincoln's performance when he found out was amazing (I have to admit I almost cried). Not to mention her actual death scene, and like someone else posted I'm not surprised they didn't show the kid shooting her as that scene had enough blood/drama. Now to start on the whole Woodbury situation, I have to admit I've got no clue where that is going, but I am definitely interested...

Exactly. Or make it fun. Put spoiler tags on certain words and make it like Mad Libs. Then we can simply insert the word "fart" in those spaces.

Oh and something I keep forgetting to mention, I am still :angry they only had Lennie James in one episode (the pilot, the african american guy with his son). I loved his character/acting in Jericho, would've been awesome to have had him in the group from the get go...
