The Walking Dead Season 3

I don't think anyone in this thread was bashing tou at all. I certainly qasn't. The spoilers are appreciated. I'm just not going to read them anymore because I want to try being surprised for a change.

I also don't think anyone was complaining too seriously about the spoilers. Spoilers are easy enough to avoid if one chooses..
Speaking for myself I wasn't complaining in my last post, just having some silly fun with the spoiler tag.
I am a spoiler junkie and cannot wait for the next fix!

It was more of a "blanket" post. Wasn't necessarily referring to anyone in this thread, just a generalization. Plus I posted that to help answer a few questions on how the spoilers come about. I get asked that question a lot through PMs on this board and others.

Lastly, since Ive also been getting asked a lot about filming locations and times, etc...anyone who lives near Atlanta, they are finishing a few reshoots until 11/16 in Senoia, which in the show is Woodbury. After that, I believe they are done filming for the season. The block of Main St. between Travis St. and Seavy St. is considered the “main set”. This is on the southern end of the town and the Governor’s “house” was actually an empty lot prior to construction of that set piece. I also get asked a lot about the prison location, unfortunately it's at Raleigh Studios in Atlanta so it's not accessible to the public.

Yeah, Andrea's kind of annoying currently. I'm hoping we'll see that change.

That said, Laurie Holden is PLAYING Andrea really really well.

What the hell was that notebook about?

It started off as the Govs journal. It had things in there like "crime has risen 20 percent", "price of food increased 40 percent". He was definitely trying to keep track when it all started.

As for the list of names ending with Penny and then a few pages of slashes. No one knows yet, but my guess was he was keeping track of everyone that died or was close to him that died. Then when Penny died, that was his turning point into madness a'la The Shining.

Anyone notice the first 3 names Brian, Bobby, Nickl? Another nice little add from the Rise of the Governor.

Here's the short synopsis for episodes 7 & 8

Episode 3.07 - When the Dead Come Knocking
The governor seeks information; a new guest at the prison forces Rick's hand.

The new guest...
Michonne

Gov seeking info
About Rick's group

Episode 3.08 - Made to Suffer
Andrea steps up when the people of Woodbury are thrown into uncharted territory; a new threat arises at the prison.

My guess for now on the "uncharted territory"...
Rick's group trying to get Maggie back

As for the "new threat arises at the prison"...
Could possibly be the Governor wanted the prison supplies

Didn't click. It has been 42 seconds since I saw this post. It is called willpower ladies and gentlemen.

I've only watched the first three episodes of season three so far, but it's getting pretty damn interesting! I really like Michonne's character I hope she gets plenty of attention, and it's cool that Merle is finally back :lol

Also curious how many different names for zombies they've had in this show, so far I remember "walkers", "lamebrains", "geeks", and now "biters" :lol

Not a whole lot from what I gathered. A group of them wandering about are called a herd, but other than that can't figure it out. I'm surprised someone hasn't referred to them as "Deadheads" yet.

It does make a lot of sense when you think of it, every survivor/group of survivors is going to come up with their own name for the zombies and as they encounter others some will either continue to use their personal name for them while others will drop theirs in favor of the one(s) used by the newcomer(s). Since there's little to no contact between one group of survivors and another there's no real way a common name would develop, the survivor groups are just too small and spread out. The exception of this would be Woodbury, wih a community as large as Woodbury and a charismatic leader like the Governor they'll almost certainly have a commonly accepted name by which they all call the zombies by.

Wow, getting a lot of hate about the spoilers, in this thread and through email, more so, about the missing Lori scene. You would think, after posting detailed spoilers for 2 seasons, once in a while wrong info would come out.

It's pretty simple, if you don't want to know then don't read them.

Everybody print this out, learn it, read it, and love it. It's on you if you read the spoilers and they don't turn out like you wanted them to.

Oh yeah I didn't mean I'm curious why there are so many names, I fully understand why, I was just wondering if there were anymore I couldn't remember.
