The Walking Dead Season 3

They may just be using the actor's age as a reference but I would think that is reasonable since we don't know and probably never will hear it mentioned. Age doesn't seem to matter much in the ZA. I would thing they would keep things ambiguous due to rapid aging on the show.

Just thought of something. They didn't mention his age in the season 1 finale when they gave him the wine did he?
 
BTW. I was watching Talking Dead. And the following dialogue is what happened between the show and my Dad:

Writer: Oh, we asked, "Has this ever been done before? Zombies in riot gear?" And then we found out that it hadn't been done before, so we did it.

My Dad: Obviously, he never heard of Left 4 Dead 2.

In fact, when we were watching the episode, I was like, "Knock them down, attack them from the backside!" (which is how you take out the riot gear infected in the game).


And how about this for the list of "$#it writers say."
Writer: Carl's growing up. He's no longer staying in the house.
Me: Since when did he EVER stay in the house in Season 2?

I'm not getting sold on the mag lights on the guns, especially attaching them to the semi autos. I dont really understand why they did that anyway. Some say for flash hiders but meh, is that necessary? If they were using them for sound suppressors (lets say in make believe land that works) how would you make them? Drilling them out, making sure the barrel lines up, attaching them, etc?
 
carl was a bad-ass. shots zombies in the head, finds dog food for dinner, and almost bunks and boinks the local young female until daddy-preacher sent him packing.

Agreed, I just hope he doesn't start acting really annoying. I hated him in the last 2 seasons.

I have read that plastic coke bottles are viable poorman's silencers. Good for only some use, however. So perhaps something with a metal frame would hold up better? As far as attaching them goes :confused
 
Ok, first off, I'm LOVING the opening of this season. It's clearly got aspects of the comics in it, but there's enough they've done VERY differently from the comics that I really don't know for sure when they're gonna stick with it and when they'll depart from it.


Michonne...folks, give her a chance. She's a REALLY interesting character in the comics, and I expect she will be in the show.

Andrea...I'm really curious to see where they take her. She's so far removed from her comics version at this point that it's anyone's guess what happens with her.


I'm also really curious to see how they handle Carl and Beth. They're close enough in age that they might pair off.


Should be a good ride this season. Best enjoyed while eating spaghetti with red sauce. ;)

I don't think it has anything to do with flash-hiding. They're clearly meant to be suppressors. I'm not really sure what you mean about a couple of points:

Is it because they are mag-lights, or because the pistols are semi-autos? Because suppressors work MARVELOUSLY on semi-autos, & a mag-light would make for an excellent starting point (in a pinch) when building one.

Building a suppressor is actually NOT that big of a trick. About 15 years ago, me & a buddy of mine MAY (OR MAY NOT) HAVE built a suppressor out of stuff purchased right from the hardware store (PVC, steel pipe, washers, o-rings, steel wool, hose clamps, etc). Using NO specialized tools or equipment requiring electricity, we MAY (OR MAY NOT) HAVE produced a suppressor that MAY (OR MAY NOT) HAVE reduced the report of a .22 rifle to, literally 0-decibels. At first it was not certain the gun had even fired.

And FWIW, afterwards we MAY (OR MAY NOT) HAVE dismantled the piece & threw the individual parts away in various dumpsters around town, because we MAY (OR MAY NOT) HAVE been paranoid.

So in the universe of TWD, this scenario is EASILY doable.
 
Okay maybe someone can explain to me why killing zombies, everyone is wearing tees and tank tops???????/ wtf !!!!!!!!!!!!! what dont they all have heavy gloves and arms and necks covered ???? and dont say heat!! i dont give a rats ass how hot it is ,you want to die because you sweat!!!!!!!
Second can someone explain how on earth a human set of teeth can tear thru a pair of blue jeans like a shark bite!!!!!!!?????? honestly worse thing that would happen is crushing of skin etc,but no way would it tear thru jeans and skin, come on writers at least try a little bit.
Also since when are zombies stealth and quiet and only make noise when on top of you????????????/ wtf!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! groups of zombies roaming prison halls would be heard on the other side, HELLO WRITERS!!!!!!!!!!! there is no other sounds to drown them out, no power,tvs,lawn mowers nothing, you would hear a pin drop across the building, CMON MAN!!!!!!!!!!!!! try a little bit writers!!!

OK....OK....CALM DOWN...

Watch the episode of Deadliest Warrior. Zombie bites would be roughly 3x that of a normal humans biting capability...I'm sure clothes would be no match.

As far as the clothes goes. We're into season 3...My only complaint would be why not wear that riot gear.

Maybe they're hot:love

P.S. Zombies also work their muscles with magic pixie dust.
 
Maybe I need to rewatch the episode but I thought some of them were wearing the riot gear and I remember a scene with Daryl saying they couldn't boil the stuff enough that was on the walkers to get him to wear it.
