The Walking Dead Season 3

I don't know if you know anything about the Katana Rob but it's the sharpest most accurate sword ever created and IS capable of slashing through bone in one clean swing. You also have to remember that they're decaying zombies, their flesh is soft and spongy and rips easy, it's not hard to get through them, so her sword isn't really unrealistic.

On another note, Screencapped this last night, in case anyone wanted it.

Nasty(y)thumbsup but I love it!

Here is a gif of it...

Loved the part when Daryl and Carol were on top of the bus

Carol "wanna screw around?"
Daryl laughs it off and goes to leave
Daryl "I'll go down first"
Carol "even better"

:lol

Agreed! There were way too many bodies lying in those hallways for me to walk comfortably through. I'd have to remove the heads first!

Rick cautiously held the body down with his machete to the chest when he checked the dead guard for keys.

Unfortunately they didn't have the time to process or think about bodies on the floor, as they were running away from a group. Cautionary went out the window.

I Didn't see Michonne Strutting around, I saw her sneaking and gaining an advantage. A Good (And we're going to go with the assumption it's a good one as it's a TV Show) Katana can easily behed a normal person, a Decaying zombie...Like a hot knife through butter. I like how she just decapitates them and leaves the heads to sit. I'd do the same, conserve energy that way.

One thing bugging me, for the group, the Humble machete is the perfect weapon, and frankly if you're house raiding, wouldn't be that hard to come by, and more practical than what they're packing. Also if you can get walkers up to a fence to shiv their brains, why not just keep doing that instead of putting yourself in major danger. I've also thought comic-wise, get a crowd of 100s of them, then just set a few on fire, proximity will handle the rest.

Having used a machete, chainsaw and other cutting blades in the real world, they dull fairly quick and require sharpening, even a "good" katana. She was just strutting around when she entered the facade to go give sickbird some water that went to almost empty to almost full in one drink. Thats some major backwash going on, like she had to have been saving that for sometime. Maybe sickbird doesnt like sword girl either and was trying to get her sick.

Still not buying it, sword girl is the new RV man, its official.

C'mon man. This is also a world where revolvers don't revolve, semi-autos don't cycle, and recoil doesn't exist! A katana can have the cutting power of a Lightsaber here! :lol

I am excited about this season, but also very worried. I absolutely HATE Michonne in the comic as she was completely out of sync with everything we had seen and seems more like a character for an Avengers series than for TWD. Looks like her TV persona will match the comic and I dislike her already. Also not looking forward to how the Governor will be handled as he seems to be cut from the same jarringly unmatched cloth as Michonne and doesn't really feel like a part of that world. He would make a better character in a GI Joe cartoon.

Anyway, excited about them being in the prison and all that can/will happen there, but I am afraid this whole season is just going to focus on characters I hate... and we JUST got rid of Shane! Come on!

I've also gotta say, I pretty much hate the way women are being portrayed in this show. Maggie is the only one who is even remotely likable.

Hoping to see Carol come out of her shell and become someone worth watching. I have no hope for Andrea or Lori.

Im waiting to see if we get some teenager walkers still trying to text on their cellphones. That would be epic.

I get the feeling carol will get shot down by Darryl and then she'll go high five a walker. It seems to me that Darryl is the source of her affection now that Sophia is gone. He looked super uncomfortable when she was jokingly hitting on him.

She'll come on to him, try to kiss him or force herself upon him and he'll get pissed and tell her to **** off.

I didn't see it that way. When he turned her down on top of the truck I got the impression that they had fooled around in the past and she was kind of joking about it now. I think they're getting along fine. Daryl is kind of unstable at times, though.

Actually, I didn't get the impression that they fooled around before. Honestly, I got more of a "friends just joking" kind of thing with that scene.

Same here, though the attraction is definitely there, I'm hoping it will lead to a crisis point when Merle comes back, he'll see Daryl cares for her and will probably exploit it. On another note I like Hershel, hope he doesn't get offed too soon, I liked his line about the baby not giving a S*** about Lori's screw ups :lol

One of my concerns is Chandler Riggs, the actor that plays Carl. He's entering his teens and aging faster than Carl. Pretty soon he won't be able to pass for a 10-11 year old.

I don't think that'll be an issue really, I mean when Buffy was made most of the cast were late 20's playing teenagers, I think he still looks very much like a 10 year old, and growing up in a zombie apocalypse is bound to make him mature a little faster? He still should've stayed in the house though..
