They gave a time frame in the Entertainment article. I want to say it was a few months. Possibly through the winter in thier time line.

Its not a flash back scene that happens this season (I can confirm it). Although, it would have been better if they followed the comic and he showed up at Hershels minus his kid
 
He had to go back home. Rick is one of those guys that cant poop anywhere but home and its three seasons in. Safe to say they wont be returning once that bowl is full.

Can't wait for the new season. Saw the Comic Con trailer yesterday (yeah, I was late) and I absolutely loved it.

Hey, don't knock the poncho. There's a couple of bad-ass characters that have worn ponchos. A good example:

All Daryl is doing is continuing the long line of bad-asses in ponchos. :lol
 
Oh, not knocking a good poncho...just not sure how I feel about his choice of a poncho. Looks kinda more like a "snuggy" to me in that pic. Maybe he needs a more manly poncho.

Maybe we should all incorporate ponchos into our every day attire.
 
can't wait for season 3, been keeping myself occupied reading the books, yes, they are a bit different, but if they are going to really "go there" with some of the things I've read, we are really in for it this season.
 
No, Kirkman has said repeatedly that he will not do that on the show, he felt it limited Rick too much in the comics. Besides that has already happened to Merle, which is fine by me. I'm digging the whole Evil Dead, Ash vibe Merle is giving off in some of the pics.
