They live in a world where people get torn apart by monsters on a daily basis. I think they could learn to live with a few bad memories when you've got fresh air, bright lights, nice groomed yards and gardens as opposed to scorched concrete walls, no lights, no real ammenities.
Fat good all that fresh air, bright lights, nice groomed yards and gardens are going to do you when you have no one to maintain and defend it. With nearly all of its defenders dead Woodbury is pretty much defenseless and there just aren't enough people in Rick's group to properly defend it nor do they likely have the experience/knowledge to keep things running in Woodbury, that was probably largely a result of Milton's work and he probably trained a number of the people that the Governor ended up killing. For their numbers the prison is much easier to defend even if it isn't as comfy as Woodbury but with a bit of effort they could make it homier like Hershcel was talking about when they first moved in.
Really? Because at most I saw people lazily sitting on top of a highly defended wall shooting arrows down at walkers 10 feet below at Woodbury. They even had recliners to relax in while waiting for like 3 walkers the entire time we saw activity there.. There was no sense of danger at all to the people of Woodbury with the security they had setup.
Is anyone else surprised that Martinez didn't make a move on the Governor? He was obviously visable shaken by the Governor's massacre of all of Martinez's friends.
The show must have the most disfunctional administration behind the scenes to go through a new head writer/producer EVERY year and to explain how massively different the ending with Andrea was.
