Ive done that amd more. For basic training I ran a mile + in full fire garb carrying at least 60+ pounds of gear including water, a fire axe and in 110 degree heat. It was a brutal 12 minute run and im by no means a running type. To take it a step further, on a fire I broke and dislocated an ankle yet still worked and walked on it for three days. That was without people trying to eat me.

The shotgun in the next room has a 25 round sling on it with another 5 on the stock. I could carry it all day along with a 50 round bandoleer and gun belt. Sometimes on the regular I can be carrying numerous weapons all day and night long depending on the work project.
You guys seemed to have based your response off someone elses "back pack of ammo" remark that was tongue in cheek. It would be idiotic to go on a two man mission with a back pack full of ammo when those your going up against are mass in numbers and want to eat you. You need the ammo close at hand. I r not a maroon.
