The zombies were on treadmills in the barn, with a brain on a stick dangling in front.
Besides, the farm has a magic invisible vegetables and fruit garden thats plentiful to feed a group so why not a nuclear power plant in the tool shed? Something has to be powering that generator since fuel is so abundant at the farm.
So you want to put your faith in a guy who has already demonstrated he'll kill anyone who gets in his way or who's incapacitation means he gets to live another day? Including you? That's some bad choice there.
I think you read Shane incorrectly. If you are talking about the shooting of Otis, that was a do or die situation, Kobayashi Maru if you prefer. He knew that both of them couldn't make it, he made the best choice for the group, in the extremely short time he had to make it. I wonder what you would do in that scenario. Sure Shane knew (or hoped) he would survive and get back to save Carl. He was not simply doing it to save himself. There was no way Otis was going to be able to keep up or make it. He was way to morbidly obese, a heart attack waiting to happen.
^ Really?! What about the parallels between Rick and Captain America?! I am shocked and appaled, Steven Rogers. Shocked and appaled I tell you.
Good Day To You Sir.

I don't think you paid attention to Shane. He CLEARLY stated to Lori he doesn't care about anyone else in the group and will do anything necessary for Lori and Carl to survive. He's just rationalizing the Otis situation. The man is a ******* and it's going to become more and more clear if you haven't seen that.
Of course, if it came down to him or Lori and Carl, he'd sacrifice them in a heartbeat.
Great points, Oneye. But you do know that Shane was about to off Rick in the woods over a chick right?

EXACTLY! Finally, someone else who gets what I'm saying about Shane. He's THAT kind of dangerous. Shane is too dangerous and is becoming a threat to the group. That's why Dale tried to hide the guns, because when Shane finally does turn on the group, he's got access to guns he could clearly take away from the group and use against them. Probably not 100% the best idea to hide the guns the way he was going to, but would you honestly allow Shane the ability to potentially turn the guns against you?
Remember when I said Rick is holding back and ready to snap? I also said Rick and Shane are the same person but each has separate ways they go about acting upon instinct and whats right vs whats acceptable. Rick over thinks and rationalizes to the point he hesitates when he should just pull the trigger. Shane is the opposite. While were there, why either of them want a bitchy overly dramatic wife/girlfriend is beyond me. Think I figured out why Rick wants to keep searching for Sophia and probly still will even after shes dead, his wife, what a downer that chick is.
^They will be leaving. Soemthing will happen. In the preview for the next half of the season, Hershel told them to get off his land, then he leaves, Rick says he is going after him. So, I am sure something will happen to get them moving on.
I am hoping we see them reach a very interesting location that has some interesting happenings in the comic. Which if things keep progressing like they are, we should see in season 3.
I would love to see them holding hands in a circle singing another one bites the dust though. Maybe the JYD will come out of nowhere as a zombie too. (For you old school WWF fans).
