The THING Macready costume and flame thrower build

For years I wanted to put together an R.J Macready costume from The Thing ...started the build. Scratch build flamethrower progress...
Pvc pipe and bowls for the two main tanks...heat gun on the bowls to add dents.
And started distressing the jacket that was a near mint condition...

Bought a 50 cent squirt gun at a garage sale and got an old paint sprayer handle for free at another garage sale

The flame thrower looks great, very nice work.

Frame, torch, hoses all attached...just need to strap it...and frost the top with some spray snow
