The show called Castle and Firefly

I've really wanted to get into Castle. But until Netflix gets a hold of it, it probably wont be for awhile. I'm recording this episode though :thumbsup

It's funny, while on the phone chatting long distance with my Mom, she said "Turn to "Castle", they're doing some space thing. You might like it." :lol She actually watches the show and likes it, and I've told her about "Firefly".

That was a great episode. Not as amazing as last week's, but the whole sci-fi con element of it was brilliant. I thought it was pretty great that everybody in the main cast had their own favorite nerdy genre.

It was a fun episode (I normally don't watch Castle with the exception of a few episodes once in a blue moon, but I couldn't miss this one :) ).

I think they nailed the whole sci-fi convention/rabid fans/cancelled show thing really well (just as Galaxy Quest did for Star Trek).

Castle had a line like "I liked all those (sci-fi) shows like Star Trek, (BSG?) and that Joss Whedon show." :lol

Nathan Fillion even did a Shatner impression at one point (which I wish his partner had a line like, "Why are you talking like that?" or something- missed opportunity there).

Great episode!

:lol I liked his Shatner impression. Wasn't he imitating Picard too while sitting in the captains chair on the ship? He said something about history not forgetting the name Enterprise, if I remember correctly.

Shoot I must have missed that part. :(

Definitely a lot of great gags throught the whole thing!

Everyone recognize Armin Shimerman (DS9's Quark) as the replica prop dealer who builds/sells the "functioning laser blaster" (which is of course the murder weapon)?
