After a question by a member on Propsummit about what Soylent Green props are out there, set about to put some projects together
and the first one is the Riot detail helmets used in the famous "scoops" scenes.
Had no information to go off so just started scouring ebays to see what could be found and i think ive come up with most of the
original parts or their exact replicas to put a helmet together.

The only helmet i could find that matches the hero helmet in terms of f
stud positions and raised stripe along the top, is a vintage Wilson football helmet. This is the only brand that i have found that has the two support rods
on the faceguard running at the correct angle, all the others run straight up and down.

To me, the visor always looked like it came of a vintage motorcycle helmet
and it seems that it was off a vintage Bell helmet.
Notice that the studs on the hero have been drilled out and moved to the end of the visor, the holes were left unfilled.

Cant seem to find the hero chinstrap, any help there would be great, but have found a cheap replacement that can easily be modified to do the job.

If anyone can provide a clear picture of the hero before painting it would be
very helpfull, im thinking its a mix of aluminium and grey.
