The Rocketeer - Rocket Pack Schematics

Hi !

Finally I've found a very good picture of the plan made by "Peabody".

All is clear! I've made a A3 copy (I live in France), I've redraw it on a transluscent paper and tomorrow will be the "paper copy test".

The true size is 15.361" x 11.667"

"This schematic was drafted by character A. “Peevy” Peabody (Alan Arkin) who invented the fantastic
rocket pack that is the central premise of the film. Two schematics were used in the making of the film, this being the primary example used throughout most of the film, while the other was used for second unit
close-ups."

If you have good ideas for the paper... Let me know.

In the movie it seems to be like a news paper :wacko

A part of my work :

Very nice! Good work.

What is the source of this quote? As has been pointed out, Peevy didn't invent the rocket pack. He drew those plans based on observing the Hughes prototype.

Sorry but the size of the paper is not the good one ...

after looking seriously the part of the movie where we can see the schematic,
it appear to be 4 times in lenght a US letter format and 2 times in the other side.
So we have now: format: "D" 34" × 22" 864 mm × 559 mm.

Better !!!

For the quote, it comes from a reputated site who sells Hollywood stuff.
(Maybe the actor made the drawing ???)

Result of the transluscent to paper test : look very very good !
Now I need to find the good printer ... :angry
