The Rise of Skywalker: Episode IX Graflex

So what is this "display saber?" Where is it found? Do they have a prop on display somewhere and it's utilizing your card? Maybe in Launch Bay?

I’m
Willing to bet they aren’t out yet, but when they are we know who made those clamp cards!!

I'll be needing one once I can get my hands on a clamp for it
I guess I could go for one now and just hold tight for a clamp, they're on your site already right?
What are the new clamp prospects looking like right now, anybody got one coming along? I havent really kept up

I believe this is the saber from the launch bay:

It doesn’t look exactly like the screen used one.

I have gotten a few notes from ppl who have seen the TROS hero that for maybe the first time ever, the VD is actually showing what was used onscreen.

New photo, courtesy of Jamie. Check out that red button for all those “not romans” skeptics ;)

Interesting that this onscreen shot shows a thin but distinct separation between the leather pieces on this side, while some other depictions have them right up against each other or even overlapping. I can see metal in the space between, and the tab is laying flat. It's probably the most prominent detail shot of the saber in the movie so I consider it noteworthy in regards to screen accuracy.

I think it looks pretty good that way to me, with the slight separation and everything laying flat.
(The Galaxy's Edge legacy version drives me nuts because the tabs stick out so much while overlapping, which isn't right at all.)

Being leather, it could easily be that the leather shrunk and pulled away slightly. Especially if constantly getting damp from use, and being in the sun a lot during filming.

Is the new clamp card the same width and thickness of a usual clamp card, just cut shorter? Or does it actually have new dimensions altogether? Is it any wider or thicker?

Oh man now we are going to need trooper trent "grinding templates" lol

Nice work gents. Now I just need to acquire credits before romans runs out of gen 2s...

Those grips and the damage suggest resin to me, most likely only the belt clip is aluminum?
Not a fan of the belt clip grip thing. my guess is aluminum ..... maybe something stronger, maybe steel. nope hmmmm....

I would have to believe some kind of steel to stand up to the rigors of filming or else it get bent frequently I imagine. Otherwise, a really strong plastic, like what is used for most personal military equipment

Neat. While I'm not the biggest fan of the short clamp card on the final movie version, overall I think it's a nicer package than the concepts here. But it's fun to see these.

I see they played with the idea of making the blue crystal a little unstable after healing. Not full Kylo but a little extra whispy at the emitter. I would have loved that in the movie, should have done it.
