I don't think there is a belt clip. The slotted grip slides onto the belt itself. However if there is one, I guess it would be similar to Kylo's (in the way it functions) only rotated 90 degrees on a vertical axis and protruding from the belt so that the grip can clip into it.

Looks like there's something beneath the protruding brown parts above and below the clamp card (not just floating, hanging over the edge of the metal sleeve)

Yes , that totally makes sense , and is really a simpler solution than have a kind of belt clip, and a lot better to replicate

For the record I hated everything about this lightsaber... in all fairness it has been a SUPER negative and unfair week..

I even was talking to a friend saying “I don’t know what’s wrong with me?! I should be excited as all hell? I don’t even like the fixed flex...”

Once Harp showed his version, I literally feel in love...

I love this damn thing...

Haha, I'm just kinda "Meh" about the whole thing.

I certainly have no desire to make a replica of this one. Not saying it's ugly or anything. It's actually kinda neat, but still, no desire.

I guess we can also start calling this particular incarnation of the Graflex the "Anduril saber" as a fandom nickname, given that it was reforged from the shards of its previous incarnation?

I'm still really not on board with the design though. I'm usually a guy who likes new things and variants and more often than not I like the new version immediately (I was TOTALLY down for the Creepy Uncle until I saw how huge the emitter was in profile, for instance), but this one... I took one look at it and I'm like "thanks... I hate it".

I mean, not knocking anyone who does like it and wants a replica, but it definitely won't be one that makes it onto my shelf.

All deference to your new feelings, but I get this. The Graflex is beyond played out. Finished, done. Luke lost it in a narratively significant manner, then somehow five movies later it came back. Then it got blown up on screen in a story that was about moving on from the past, and yet somehow, again, it's back once more. It's ridiculous that it's still part of the story.

Let it go JJ. Its a prop, not the Master from Doctor Who. It's done. Move on buddy.

I mean, a t-track saber is hard enough on the hands as it is - but that would just make it unmanageable. And not pretty.
