It really is an invaluable resource. Plus you get to see the "thought process" as it's being built as well as little light bulbs going on as discoveries of donor parts are being made!!!
I do wish the mods would stick that thread so we don't have to dig constantly.

Leg 2!
Top joint is just like last time. Next joint is a little different. Drill your holes and thread your bolts...
Glue the Saturn V part down, and then use a washer to keep the bolt secure:
Tank wheels fit over top of the bolt head and tail nicely, with a little trimming.
Your leg will freely rotate securely, and it's pretty dang close in resin, accuracy-wise.

Those are looking real nice Jason.
The last piece of resin that the bolt threads into has a smaller diameter hole, so the threads grab into the resin and lock everything together. You can add a dab of cyanoacrylate to that end, if you wish... In this example, it's the last piece with the red arrow:

I've been using a "tap" to thread my resin end caps so that my screw matches it exactly. So far so good.
Next leg:
Put it together like this, using a couple of the appropriate diameter resin discs as seen in this photo http://www.roboterkampf.com/roboterkampf/misc/probe/L1120429.jpg :
Once again, with the pincer assembly, bury a bolt into the endcap:
Entomb in putty:
Middle assembly:
Top assembly - the wheels cover over the bolt:
Trim this part to give the illusion that it sits inside the leg's hollow, as it does on the real prop:
Flip 'er around and add the rectangular greeblie to the middle section of the leg as shown:
