The PIONEER Yoda puppet in fandom that started it.

Re: my old Yoda silicone puppet

Thank you guys :). You make me happy. I can tell you that I really enjoy making Yoda puppetry. I can speak like him and prepaired the puppet properly for that I can immitade the actual movements. The hair are all punched in one by one and I made Updates on the belt and walking stick.

Yes i will upload some video when I found out how. But I can send DVD´s of his performances. If you need one P.M. me.

Hm, I have made professional moulds. So it´s possible to make new casts. But to make another Yoda puppet will be an enormous, complicated time consuming progress, that I have not planned to do it again for another Yoda...unless somebody is willing me to pay enough...which I don´t believe. Only Film studios would do. If they would have a need for a Yoda puppet.:wacko
Which I don´t believe, because Yoda already had his appeariences...And now the bits and bites have taken over...:confused

I will post some pictures of the making of the puppet for you these days. Maybe this helps you to make a working, articulated Yoda puppet yourself.

Would be very interesting to see Jörg:

You could make a little lightsaber for him to play with. Or that flashlight he steals from luke.

Re: my old Yoda silicone puppet

YESS!!:thumbsup

Thank you guys. I did a movie where Yoda had a lightsabre. The light would be killer. Is there anyone out there that has one?

I post the pics as soon as I have some minutes over for it - I am trying to have it done this week :)

There you are. here I post my making of pictures for you:

I redid this eye mechanism. The first method didn´t work right. Now it´s perfectly articulated. Even the ears are totally working like on the real thing.

Thank you for your warm words Cyberman. I noticed earlier, that you are speaking German. So henceforth we have an alternative in communicating :angel

Kind regards

lol. That is when he says: "I have heard of the name of E.T. just before Iwas born" BTW. I always loved E.T. If I would find it equally interesting to recreate what other´s invented, and not to see it only as an exercise instead of living from creating own stuff, I would like to make a E.T. puppet. But who knows. Maybe I do when I don´t have to take care about money any more...which I don´t know when that happens...

THANKS AGAIN FOR ALL YOUR KIND WORDS!!! I´m looking forward to hear your opinions!

Re: my old Yoda silicone puppet

I just searched for other funny Yoda shots.
Found these ones from some public events I did in the last 4 years, like the Yoda Quiz that was part of several SW-movie premiers. . :cool
What do you think?:

Sorry, about those big amount of pictures. But I want to show you the possibility of the facial expressions my Yoda can make, so I decided to post unusually many pictures.

Re: my old Yoda silicone puppet

Hey Jorg,
Since you posted pics of your yoda and vaders in my showoff threads, I thought I'd return the favor. :thumbsup

Check out my Cyberman/Gino ESB Yoda puppet.

No, that´s okay - why shouldn´t it :)
Thanks Gino. I take it as a compliment. Like your work as well.
But to be honest: I would declare your Yoda as a stand up figure, not really as a puppet.

It would have been better if you added some unknown pictures...right?
