First episode is out, much better than I thought it would be.

Okay this was actually good.

I did not like The Batman. Shovelface is terrible as Batman. The only thing I liked is the Batmobile, as it combined my favorite fictional and real life vehicle. I also loved his chest Batarang/knife/glyph whatever thing. I have two. Otherwise I hated everything about it. I appreciate the director was a huge and sincere Batman fan, but,...

Batmobile chase was good. Reason for it was dumb, and I am pretty sure Batman got a lot of innocent people killed. Plus they just let Penguin go after he tried to murder Gordon right in front of them.

I am not sure why I checked it out, but it's like the first few seasons of The Walking Dead. I was not ever a zombie movie fan, yet I wanted to keep watching it.

To my utter shock and surprise, and amazement this was actually really good. This is the last thing on Earth I would do as a spinoff, but it is really well done, and somehow, someway you kind of like this bizarre character.

See Disney, it ain't that hard.

You know something is good when it makes you like a character you could not stand.

This actually makes The Batman movie better. I could not stand Penguin in it. I have no clue, as great an actor as he is, why they didn't just cast a guy who looked the part. I have no interest in mob movies with a few exceptions.

Now I can not wait to see more.

Batman does need to be mentioned, and even pop up. There is no way he would not be very active after everything that is happening.

I also love how it picks up right after the film and is dealing with the aftermath.

It's also very interesting that he took this kid under his wing, no pun intended. The kid is nothing impressive. He has no skills, is afraid, etc., but he sees something in him.

Like I said, I am still not entirely sure why I like it, but I do.

I really enjoyed The Batman myself, but I can see where you're coming from.I originally thought Farrell was a bit over the top from the trailers in order to not sound like Colin Farrell, but I honestly was half way through the movie before I even remembered it was him.

I think the kid having the stutter is what sealed it. Growing up near where Cobb did, they probably both had their share of grief for having a difference. I believe Cobb could relate in his own way.

Mentioning Batman here and there in the series is a good idea. Pattinson cameos would be too much IMO.

Vic is seemingly a new character as far as I can tell. If so we won't have preconceptions or expectations for him to live up to so his character could really go in any direction. I'm looking forward to seeing how that plays out.

I really enjoyed this episode a lot. Farrell is amazing. Very well done.

I don't know if it's still the case, but WB has a policy against putting Batman in live-action TV shows. They want him to be movie exclusive. You might get cameos here and there but that's it.

He at least needs to be mentioned, reports off, etc.. There is a power vacuum and a mob war starting, not to mention the aftermath of the Riddler's plan.

"Shovelface has been reported in the area. His super awesome Batmobile/Charger has been seen."

Seriously, wouldn't Shovelface be a great nickname Oz gives Batman??

Me feet hurt do to Nueropathy. They look normal, I don't limp, for the most part it does not effect my life. Basically there is a slight numbing and pain all the time. After a day on my feet they are much more sore. My point is nowhere near as bad as he is and I am ready to have my feet taken off. So sick of it.

Why on earth, if his feet or foot were that bad, wouldn't he have them amputated and get along much better with some good prosthetics. I know prosthetics are not perfect, but they would be much better than his current situation.

Plus add in some cool weapons.

This is supposed to be Batman, not real life crime show with a guy in a Batsuit.

I love Nolan, but I felt it went so far the other way there was not much Gothamy or really Batman world about it. This new version has taken that to a whole new level. A little fun, comic, Gothic feeling would be nice.

Loving the Falcone story line and the the whole series so far, it does remind me a lot of Gotham but that's mainly due to the source material..
Ep5 this week and can't wait!

I really like the fact it's not fantastical and grounded in a modern era Gotham., I must visit Newyork at some time the Steel work of those subways and bridges look amazing!
