Hi all!
I'm TJ and very new to prop making & costuming. I've been lurking here for a looong time, and I'm glad I'm finally able to join.

I've yet to make any props, but I'm looking into metal casting and possibly resin as well. Anything that might spark my interest.

I've been costuming for about 9 months, and I am a professional Capt. Jack impersonator (yes...another Capt. Jack).

I look forward to working with all of you and your amazing well of knowledge and skills!

Welcome Mate, I hope you like it here as much as I do.

Looking forward to seeing your Cap'n Jack costume too :thumbsup

Cheers,

Kraig

Cool, finally got an account as well :) I live in Arizona and have just started getting into props myself. Have been in collectibles for quite awhile (mainly LOTR items). Looking forward to being part of this forum!

I'll add to the onslaught of newbie posts...At last a member of the RPF! Halleluja!
Ron from South Flordee.
Been into Ghostbusters propping and costuming for a loooong time.

Moved to Flordee 3.5 years ago and the Lone GB didn't cut it.
Now on to Indy jones.
The only "props" I currently make are nylon bullwhips.
Anyway...It is great to be part of such a great and talented community.

Hi,

Long time reader, first time poster. I'm happy this place opened to new users! I think it's a very cool community here. Right now I am concentrating mostly on Indy and SW props. I am ALWAYS interested in Doctor Who stuff.

I live in San Francisco and have worked in sfx for a while.

I'm looking forward to diving in the waters here.

Shameless WTB: I just missed a Magnoli Staff of Ra on sale in the Junkyard 'cause I couldn't PM. Definitely looking for one.

Talk to you soon,
Cassidy

hey, noob here, i'm Johnny, from the UK. Have become totally addicted to this site since I found it several months ago. Absolutely stunned at how spectacular you lot are. Been busy as a bee since stumbling here. will post soon with the pieces I'm working on for general criticism and maybe a teeny bit of back slapping lol.

thanks for the inspiration x

Hello all!

I'm a regular at thedentedhelmet and have wanted to join the RPF for months as well!

I'm just getting into this prop stuff.

Some of you know me through TDH and others know me as "Lord Krulos III" on xbox live (CoD4)

Well, that's it!

Hi all, I am a new user here as well, from Australia, and glad to be aboard, although my head is spinning at all the projects I want to make. If I get close to being able to make projects that are even close to some of the ones I have seen on here I will be extremely happy...but right now I am kind of doubtfull.

Please tell me you all started like this and were not just born with imense skills!!

cheers

Glenn

Hi from Romania Transilvania. I'm an old member on Rebelscum and other Star Wars forum and recently got into Star Wars props and came here as well. I'm mostly interested in Star Wars Imperials but collect other things as well.

Hello everyone, from Chicagoland!

It's a pleasure to be here. I've been a member of other prop boards for a while now, and those boards led me to this land of magic and wonder. :D

You folks are nothing short of awesome. Some of you might have seen me from time to time at ASAP, Propcircle, 405th, or TDH as HAL9triple0, or as Chronos over at TCF. I recognized some of you! :thumbsup

I have a huge appreciation for movie props and the craftsmanship that goes into making all of those memorable pieces.

It's great to be here! :)
