The Official Color & Size of YODA Eyes Thread

Hey guys,
Here's a closer look at the eye from one of those shots with Freeborn.
The eye looks like a hazel/green to me. Brownish tones around the pupil and green around that with darker green at the edges of the iris.
The email address Chris@Chriswoodstudios.com is listed on the back of the photo. I can't recall his ebay ID but that's where he was selling the photos.

Tom, is that a photo of a photo? Because it looks like it's slightly skewed. If so, could you possibly scan it in high-resolution? And then someone could color-correct that and voila. there you'd have your source image to submit to Cantor & Nissel.

Heres the selection of eye variations that ive created in Photoshop... My personal favourite is "D"
Also, I feel the close-ups of these two images, below, had completely the wrong colour saturation so I've put it through my image colour corrector and this balances out the blues and reds. Heres the results.

I like 'D', but there needs to be more distinction between the light green and dark green areas.
Regarding the budget version I mentioned, how about some of these eyes? :
I think the last one pictured looks pretty close.
Or for a non-veined eye, how about this:
The rub is, these come in a maximum size of 28mm. If 28mm will fit Cyb's new sculpt, we will have a good budget Yoda eye option.
Here's a slightly bigger pic of the real eye you showed earlier Phil - it shows the brown, light green and dark green aread nicely.
It looks quite close to this, but I think the pupil is a little bit smaller on the real eye:

[A but sprinkle some gold and amber in there, honestly reminds me of an ex GFs eyes...
seriously, ive seen people debate if they are hazel or what...
to me they are a weird green like the one in A.
but with lines bleeding through of gold with hints of amber... if you see what im saying, so yes hazel from a certain POV... but im saying they are distinctly murky green with sort of hints bleeding through of the goldish ambery-redishness...
damn ive confused myself. LOL.
anyone understand what im tryin to say? :confused
