I sure hope so. If not we might have to wait till the Sideshow figure or perhaps a black series or disney park Legacy saber?
I already 3d printed mine as a placeholder. Will be replaced in metal after we get good pics.

Awhile back, I compared that frame to the ones that precede and follow it. It would appear that the thinner part of the hilt in that frame is actually a special effects mistake by whomever applied the molten metal effect. In other words they didn't place the effect properly and it's covering up part of the handle. I could be wrong but that's how it looks when comparing other frames before and after this one.

This one was pretty much about George's accomplishments & philosophies, & then how the show is trying to maintain that legacy.
The roundtable was John Knoll, Filoni, Favreau, Kathleen Kennedy, & one or 2 more. I was fixing breakfast when it was on, so I was more or less just listening.
I'm pretty sure I can see (2?) LED strips in this pic, the individual bulbs are pretty apparent here, unless it's just an artifact.

As a Darksaber fan here's my conundrum...
Since it was introduced in animation, I feel like that's the legit canon version... but at the same time, looking at the lightsabers in CW and Rebels that also appear in live action, you can see they are stylized. Things in Clone Wars are often squared off for its style. Rebels was more rounded, but also, its line work was intentionally rougher.
I mean, it's not like the OT sabers even match up from film to film, so it's not like this should bug me... and to be fair, it's a saber that is very old and changes hands a lot so you could canonically say it has been modified... but is the Mandalorian/live action version THAT different?
What are some of the differences? The main one I can track is the length of the hilt above the handgaurd seems to vary. Can we tell if the live action team favored the CW or Rebels version?
All the images I can find are always angled so it's hard to track the differences.
Point being... I want one.

I think the live action one is a hybrid of the two.. still can’t really see it.
I believe the damn thing is also painted black..
Love the port hole slots in the emitter
But the grip line engraving on the handle itself looks totally different.. and I’m hoping I’m not seeing a D ring on the bottom of it

Esposito has confirmed a lot of sword fighting in season 2 and he’s broke 3 or 4 dark sabers lol
