The Man from UNCLE replica pistol

Years later, a good friend and stop-motion animator, Ted Patrick used his machining skills to make a more accurate extended barrel, grip and suppressor to fit over the barrel of my replica. I also re-shaped the end shoulder buttstock and fitted the accurate Remington buttplate. Eventually, I replaced the fake scope with an accurate real Bushnell Phantom scope. --Ed

Hi Ed, What does the correct Bushnell Phantom scope look like? I have some scopes and might not have the right one. Thanks!
The Phantom looks just like the Magnum but the front of the scope is shorter

You know, I was stationed in the army in Germany in early 70's, and was amazed to find out that the Walther p-38, which was handed out to all the SS officers during the war, were being sold for about 5.00 US per! Many of these were in the possession of the army after WW2 ended and were being resold to the public, who were turning around and selling them on the open market! Wish that I had gotten a ton of those back then and shipped them back here, a piece at a time!
