...awkwardly shoehorned into the Oscars ceremony. It's probably not a first, but still strange for the Academy to directly endorse an upcoming film.
On a positive note, making Scuttle a gannet actually isn't a terrible choice considering that they have a well-documented habit of collecting human trash to build into their nests, with discoveries by researchers including "a plastic frog, shotgun-shell casings, rope, lobster-pot tags, false teeth, a catheter, fishing line, plastic wrap, a gold watch, a fountain pen, and golf balls."
At the same time, I don't understand the continued insistence on making every animal character in these remakes biologically accurate to the point that they essentially can't discernibly emote.
