Feels like there’s some confusion from the costume department leading to some misinformation here
Because although that brand does make similar shirts the buttons here definitely say Dakota, this might possibly be accidental confirmation of the shirt from the guitar scene we thought was from Mr. Porter
I also found her saying this
So unless there are different boots for the Jackson scenes and new ones for the snow it’s just confusing.

Anyways, I followed up again to confirm if the green one is the one he wears when he gives the guitar to Ellie, or if it is in fact his death shirt.
I've looked high and low for Denver Hayes dark green men's overshirts, and I am coming out empty handed. Unless someone in Vancouver is able to find one out for us lol.

Alright....so... I think it is the Dakota WorkPro Series Men's Stretch Cotton Long Sleeve Shirt for his final shirt.
Why? Look at the pocket structure in this photo:
Now look at the shirt:
The only thing however, Joel's might be an older one. So it doesn't have the right buttons.
So.... either the model is slightly older, with differences, or it's again the wrong shirt > BUT, still from the Dakota brand.

I think at this point we're going to have to let go the Denver Hayes Herringbone green shirt. It's nowhere to be found. His death shirt is going to be our best option.
Btw, I confirmed that the brand for the black shirt is not Dakota Grizzly. On their buttons they have "Dakota Grizzly", not "Dakota Dakota" like the image.
We just need someone to confirm in person if the Dakota WorkPro has the correct buttons.
The black shirt that they offer might not be the right one, but it's definitely a spiritual successor.

Looks like yeah, Dakota work pro shirts have the right buttons.
Based on an eBay listing for navy blue short sleeve shirts that are specifically the work pro kind.
Now who wants to brave ordering from the site that doesn’t dispatch orders to see if the black cotton stretch one has side vents? Just like the lucky brand linen ones details get changed between years even if they’re technically the same product, which is annoying to basically only use wanting accuracy haha

Lol I already ordered from Marks. Had to get it shipped to a place locally in Vancouver, and then having them forward it to me here in LA.
I'm honestly fine if a few things are off, but the Guitar gift shirt is gone. It is nowhere to be found. I dont even have reference photos for it lol.
I also did a variation for the shirt. I got the tan in the dyed cotton, and I might strip the color and redye it in a similr color to the on-screen to expiriment.
I'm just confused why Ann would confuse us ha.

You definitely out sped and outmaneuvered me there, must be the sick space shark surfing skills.
I was going to order from marks but saw it was Canada only and then came here to see if someone would middle man the order only to see you’ve already done that.
Definitely excited to see when they arrive, maybe they dyed an olive shirt to black and that’s where the idea it’s green comes from but I feel like the stitching would stand out. Cotton fabric will take dye but poly stitching stays the same (like the brown Dexter henley that kept its white stitching for example) although you might be able to get around that with rit dye more. And that could possibly explain the buttons saying Dakota but not having the letters be white.

yeah we shall see. I’m hoping it’s an easy dying process, otherwise, I’ll just have to work to fade the black one.

Btw! I never actually owned a denim trucker jacket, and when TLOU x Wrangler collab dropped. I was like “Maybe I’ll like it…. I’ll probably return it”. And I ended up loving it, and now I have a little TLOU logos on it. What more can you ask for lol.
But…. I digress. Unfortunately, they’ve already sold out.

Wanted to chime in one more time because the makeup crew posted these close ups
The shirt is very clearly black, and it has the sheen of a blend fabric so I do think it’s that stretch cotton shirt. We’ll see from immortalverse if the pictures are out of date or the shirt used on the show was and the differences in the back pleats are just a change between seasons.
They also may have fitted the shirt to Pedro by taking apart the back and undoing the center box pleat, recutting the shirt to the right size and using excess fabric to form side pleats. That would be a hell of a lot of work but I wouldn’t put it past them after the Fjallraven

I do have a status on the shirts. They shipped it to my Canadian mailbox, and I'm waiting for them to receive it and update it on the site, then I can ship them here, so they do dispatch orders! haha

If y’all will indulge my custom jacket one more time
Buttons upgraded, custom patch added, love this jacket so much! Seriously cannot thank Jameel Ur enough for making it possible for me to imagine a cross between two jackets and suddenly have it be completely real.
Also since I never saw the lining in person (shipped it straight to Jameel without a proofing swatch, a bit ballsy but I didn’t want to wait) I think it turned out well just needs some tweaking on the colors to be slightly less blue. Would anyone be interested if I make it publicly available on spoonflower?
