I don't get the whole "clan" terminology. I don't think we need to name certain groups of people who gather together for conventions...we are all part of the Hunters Lair. It would be impossible for everyone to meet in one place at the same time - its just not possible. I don't think there was any disrespect meant when some people were left out - just a slight oversight and misunderstanding.

Good times were had,want to thank everyone who came out for this ears SDCC 09.14 PREDATORS ROCKED THE FLOOR.....IN A BIG WAY. It was a little tough to get everyone moving around together as we all saw,but none the less.... a blast. Made some new friends and met some old ones......thats really what it comes down too.....making great costumes (which everyone had) and meeting people from all over the globe. I just wanted to say thanks............it was a very memorable experience as always. See ya pred-heds next year.

My hat goes off to the guys who went to sdcc suited up ,but very important , to the ones who were there as support..... thanks for the pics they are awesome!! as much as i love predator , i dont have the means of getting a perfect suit..and not the time to make it either, so i been collecting( buying )a mask here, gaunlet there, feet and hands overthere and so on... i probably got pieces from P1 P2 AVP....since im in a time restraint and a budget. my question is am i gonna get ridiculed for having different armour or parts from different preds??? i like to change few things , not to improve peoples stuff but to make it a bit diferent.. if i had the money to buy everything P1 or P2 i would but i buy when they get posted and i can afford them...!!

Thanks for the pics "little knife" lucky thing meeting Nimoy and Spiner, glad to hear you had a good time.
I recall reading that the SDCC "hunting party" went over to the sideshow area, looked on their site and found these 2 pics. Not the greatest but better than nothing.
I wounder if the mods can place all the pics in one post

Clan as defined by Wiki "A clan is a group of people united by kinship and descent, which is defined by actual or perceived descent from a common ancestor. Even if actual lineage patterns are unknown, clan members may nonetheless recognize a founding member or apical ancestor. In Ireland in particular there was an amalgamation of the Clans of Connaght(Irish Province) under the name of An Dal Cuinn. This was an amalgamation of many Clans and tribes to form one massive one. which then led to the united ireland of its time with a High King be brought to power.

Anyway thats way of topic. just i i think its fair enough to call all the memebrs of the Lair part of the CLan as it refers to Tribe or collection of people.

As For SDCC... seeing more and more pictures being added is giving me the drive to get my suit finished and start saving to get there for next year......

Hi everyone, just arrived home today, after a long flight but made it in one piece, camera footage seems fine.
Had a great time this year seeing back some old friends and meeting new ones and missed a few people to make acquaintances, sorry about that!

I assume the video is eagerly awaited and yes, I think it will blow the previous one right out the window.
Those who’ve seen the footage already (and discard the endless carpet seams) know what to expect ;-)
I will need some time to make it (the jetlag fun isn’t helping right now/we‘re so gonna own you in Ireland, Ha!) but a first trailer should be up soon.


Thanks Damon for organizing this year’s edition, the car rides and fun times, to Dave for his hospitality and back-up facilities (okay, that preview was just sick!), to Derek and Ken for joining us from Ireland and bringing sheer madness (OMG it’s Kevin Sorbo!! - huh? Whut? Whut? ) into the group, to Scott for, well you know ; ) - I’m still speechless… , to Art, Cesar & Felipe for playing it up on Sunday - yes, that last vid borders on good taste (or is that bad taste LOL), to Ian for helping taking photos while I was busy with the camcorder, and everybody who took the extra effort for making this the most impressive SD gathering as of yet.
Didn’t get a chance to record stuff for every member but it was a madhouse Saturday and on some occasions frigging hard to tell everyone apart.
To those I have promised to contact or mail photos I will do so shortly, once everything is uploaded on my comp and I have had a chance to review all the material.

For now, I just need a bed ^_______^
