So some friends of mine were able to extract the Episode 7 Stormtrooper model from the Star Wars App. It's fairly HD and very accurate. Credit goes to Corra Ashu and PepMaster for the extraction, I'm just posting it on here.

Anyone want to try their hands at unfolding it? I'm currently unfolding the helmet for foam/cardboard, but I know some people will want it for paper!

They also have the blaster but it is way too HD for unfolding, unless there is some unfolding guru out there.

Got the files (thanks to Corra) but haven't been able to print it. It seems that the model is too thing to be printed (I'm a total noob concerning 3d modeling and just start 3d printing)

But the model looks good.
 
It's times like this that I wish I had better computer skills, hope someone can pick this up and run with it.

That helmet looks 1:1 screen accurate. I downloaded the files but didn't find any PDO of the helmet.

If you could export it, that'd be awesome!

Well we've got them being unfolded for foam right now, will post them when they're ready. We still need some paper unfolds though!
 
thanks, i only ask because i want to try and make a foam stormtrooper helmet before the new movie comes out and there was another thread but you had to be signed up to the 405th costuming website and even when i did sign up it still wouldn't let me download the file. yours also looks quite cool so i thought i would give it a go.
 
thanks, is yours designed for foam and if so please may you still post it, sorry to b a pain but i am ideally looking for one geared for foam?

Hey if anyone is still watching this thread, I've looked at both the files that were ripped from the game and the files made by Fisherk2.. The Fisher files are definitely the game ones, and they're unfolded and super great if you're willing to deal with the fact that they aren't all that cleaned up from the game version of the files. Meaning all the surfaces have a "thickness" and the unfolds account for this and don't include them in the templates, but I'm a bit of a perfectionist so if anybody is still interested post here and I'll post the new unfolds I make from this file after I complete em ;) Not trying to rip on Fisherk2 they're GREAT templates I just really like modeling and could use the practice.
