We are working through a very large list of components and are making good progress. I know some of you have been waiting for a few months now and I’d like to say thank you for your patience.

Once the kits have been sent off, we will be switching focus to the built ZF1s. I will be also updating some of the build videos and adding new ones as the prop continues to evolve (mainly small tweaks to build methodology, painting guides etc)

For the smaller parts, it’s best to SLA print them directly..

Bags of cables and switches. These are all hand made, each individual electrical contact has been hand crimped, each switch soldered and heatshrinked. Lots of work here.

Heads up to kit buyers - I will be contacting you all in a couple of days regarding the second payment as the kits are nearly ready for shipping.

Assembled ZF1 buyers - work will be starting on these as soon as the kits are complete. Pictures soon!

Got my DX kit today! It's officially nuts. Next steps: Leave in box for six years then one day open it up again and remember how awesome all the parts look.
Yep, I got a few of those, standard prop building operating procedure!! but you at least know you have one right ;)!!

Hi everyone,

If I could resin print the entire upper and lower outter shell, would anyone be interested in purchasing the prints?

This would save hours of sanding the FDM printed shell components. I would probably sell the shell parts for £150-£200 + PP.

Let me know on here or DM me.

Thanks!

Jake

Pretty amazing. Most probably won't have grown up watching this movie. But this was pretty classic. Just don't press the red button and you're all right.

I might have to save up and come back here for one.

First in a series of quick videos showing the entire construction process of a ZF1 kit. This first video demonstrates the assembly of the trigger mechanism and grip assemblies, with each part of the construction process coming in future videos.

These will also demonstrate cabling and other parts of the assembly process. Painting guides still to come.

Thanks!

Second video in the build saga!

This video covers the scope assembly.

I will be recording the servo tuning video next week which is very important for all you kit builders as it will demonstrate the best and easiest way of tuning these props!
