Justin is real good and you can believe he's the Son of the commander from Balance of Terror. He even sounds like him and cultivated the voice and mannerisms.
I've been at Digital fusion, Premiere and Lightwave coming up with a sure fire system for matting into the bridge so I can proceed ahead with the many shots and angles.
It takes matching the camera angle and lighting of the practical shoot to the CGI set in Lightwave. I used the CGI chair to get my distance and angle the same, match lighting. Then I would remove the CGI chair. run off a single frame and place that into Digital and pull a comp. I'd keep doing this until I was happy then had Lightwave run off the background animation.
The clip test is 8 seconds long and I hope to post it tonight.
Here are a couple of pictures, one a frame test and the other shows the Digital fusion set up which I prefer over AE for comps hands down. UltraKeyer1 rocks!
