The Elder Scrolls Online - The Alliances Cinematic Trailer

Can't wait for the game, but I'd like to see some gameplay soon. TES is one of my favorite gaming series and has easily got hundreds and hundreds of hours of my time.

You and me BOTH ! If not a Movie, a direct to DVD one at the very least.... Many,MANY game trailers out there beat the CRAP
out of what Hollywood spews out !

Awesome trailer, the in-game screenshots I saw were considerably less impressive. I still signed up for the beta.

I'm with you there. Between Daggerfall, Morrowind, Oblivion, and Skyrim, the Elder Scrolls have claimed at least 1500 hours of my life.
 
Yet they won't let interplay finish Fallout Online. I dunno i'm not big on online gaming.

Same here. I still remember installing Morrowind when it was released, getting of the ship and being told to go to Balmora. If I want to. Or not. WTF? Pure freedom, the thrill of exploring...
Still playing Skyrim (again) with my first character...

I want to get excited for this game, so much. :lol
But I'm just skeptical that another medieval fantasy themed MMO is going to enter an already saturated RPG market and bring us all of the same stuff us Elder Scrolls fans hate about online multiplayer and none of the things we love about these games.

And the worst part is, if they do end up failing they could turn their business model into TOR.
 
Game play and details about the different classes is what im most curious about when awaiting a new mmo.

I do wonder why they humanised the elves so much. TES' character design is part of the appeal of the series IMO, so it seems weird to change it.
 
You guys should hear the complaints about it on the Facebook page. It's insane. People are freaking out over the 'any race, any alliance' thing. And the monthly fee.

I've played the last two closed betas and because of an NDA, I can't talk about it. I guess I can say that from what I've experienced, I'm not impressed.
 
Wish you could spill the beans, but I totally get the NDA. From the complaints I've seen, people want Skyrim online. What they don't understand is that there's no way (with current tech) to run those kind of graphics smoothly for millions of people at once. Not going to happen. By lowering the graphics, they can allow more people to play with their hardware.

Makes sense to me.
