The Definitive CW Arrow Thread

Oh yes, its definitely a hard body, I never thought it was 100% leather. I doubt very much that its Plexiglass however.

Leather CAN fray, if its thin enough, however, the material to me looks like Suede with leather accents, piping etc.

Does anyone know what sort of jeans Barry wears. I really would like a pair for everyday wear but am really bad at finding matches (just check out the amazing spiderman wardrobe thread) and any help would be appreciated

So far the closest I've been able to find has been this pair from nordstroms;

They're called Thin Finn' Slim Leg Jeans (Organic Dry Ecru Wash)

Honestly though I'm seriously hoping that these aren't them, the price is frankly far more than I'm willing to pay for one of my 'covert cosplays'. Does anyone have any sort of alternatives they could recommend?

Whilst I am sure you will get your answer here and without wanting to be 'that guy' I think this particular thread is to discuss the suit and props used by The Arrow/Oliver Queen :thumbsup

Thanks muchly for the information! Will definitely help replicate as close as possible!

just as a request does anyone have an image or could you take a shot of the season one bow from both sides and the front and back with no obstructions? i am trying to find images to make a template from for a hand built and carved riser (have my own personal touch on there.). In advance if someone posts these Thank You very much.

As requested, and since nobody has done it yet, here are some dead on shots of both sides, front and back of the riser.

No guarantees as to the accuracy of the symbols on the under-wrap portion, but they should be pretty close, too. The rest of the symbols should be just about dead-on (barring human error), if not I welcome corrections.

Hey does anyone know what the material / thing is used to hold the arrow rest hinge, hinges and the chock on?

I've been thinking it's some sort of twine , but then how perfect and tight it looks in some places and makes its look like sticky tape.

Mods delete please.

Thanks so much for this thread. It was by far my biggest resource for putting together my cosplay.

Wanted to pass along a couple things I learned. His grey cargo pants are an old model from H&M:

I suspect the other cargo pants from the show are H&M also. The green ones from the island seem to be the newer model judging by the front pocket flaps.

The belt is just a khaki/beige (not cream) D-ring web belt.

Shoes are the Nike Free Run's mentioned previously, without the boot part added.

His star tattoo seems to be modeled after the star tattoos on the infamous Vyacheslav Ivankov. Wikipedia tells me they signify the title of vor (of vor v zakone)in the Russian Mafia (Bratva).
"In the Russian Mafia to become a "Vor" (plural: Vory) (a Thief) is an honorary title meaning to become a made man. The honor of becoming a Vor is only given when the recruit show’s considerable leadership skills, personal ability, intellect and charisma."

It was the only place I could find the same tattoo.

Just wanted to contribute what info I had to give back a little!

I guess we were all shooting for last weekend. This thread was tremendous help to me and will continue to be.

My Vigilante, Oliver, Arrow etc ... was a big hit at AllCon 2014 ... Please ignore the loose strap. :( it popped loose and I didn't realize until after the photos were done.
