Also, just want to note that "post-release" doesn't really clarify if it's a spoilers-okay or a spoiler-free thread.
Thanks, we will address this so that there isn't any confusion about this. But for now to confirm, all Post-release threads are open to any spoilers. Also, maybe new guidelines should be set since we have forum leaders now.
I wish things were more universal and uniform when a movie gets released or when reviews starts leaking out. And with many movies getting released internationally before US, it makes things even harder. TDKR was screened exactly two weeks prior to its US release and has been quite publicized, it is already widely discussed around other sites, which is why I decided to start a post-release thread here if members choose to discuss the reviews or the movie itself. Prometheus also got released internationally one week earlier, which is why I started that thread early as well.It seems like members and forum leader are battling each other on who posts the thread first. It's gotten so silly that people are posting post release threads weeks before a film comes out.
Who cares if the critics screened it. I doubt any of us are "professional" critics. Well some members like to pretend to be but that's another topic.
I have no intentions to claim FIRST amongst the members here in regards to anything. If anybody else wants to start a post-release thread, they can please do so without having to worry that I will battle it out and seize their opportunity.
We are looking at creating consistent threads with all major info pertaining to the movie to be reflected in the opening post. But if somebody already has created that movie thread, we will gladly let it continue as the official thread. The one change they can expect is perhaps their thread title being edited, if necessary to reflect the word "Post-release".
