The Curse Of Chucky

To me looking at the trailer, it looks like the traditional Chucky face does return... It appears toward the end of the trailer.

Based on the trailer and the look of Chucky, the only way this movie can possibly be good is if Mark Ruffalo Hulks out, smashes Chucky into nothing, and walks away muttering "Puny Doll"...

Buwahahahaha!!!!

I am in for this one. Hopefully it is a return to the original scarier tone, that scared the hell outa me when I was a kid...... Never looked at my toys the same way

Okay. Movie's out. What does everyone think?

I think the story was decent, but had some weird holes in it. Not plot holes exactly, just weird questions.
SPOILERS!!!!!!!

1. So, was Chucky Nica's father, or what the hell? It's never said outright, but heavily suggested. And, I mean, why cast Brad's daughter in the part of Nica? Fiona looks EXACTLY like Brad.
2. What exactly happened to the little girl after Chucky did the chant in the grandmother's dining room? He should have possessed her, but afterward we see Chucky is still trapped inside the Good Guy doll. What happened?
3. How microscopic was the nanny cam? It should have been poking out of Chucky's clothes.
4. Most importantly, why does Chucky now look like a Japanese girl, rather than a creepy redneck mutant (as seen in my previous comment)?

I also wish the movie wasn't set in such a horrible campy setting. An old, gothic-looking Victorian house, constantly bombarbed by rain and thunder. That made it so campy.

Just watched this....I thought it was pretty good compared to the campy stuff. It had its issues but I thought the doll looked great. Not like the original but what the original would look like based off chucky of the past 3 films or so.
