i DID worry! in fact, i worried so much about not being able to throw it far enough in the armor, that i ended up overshooting and throwing it too far. he couldn't catch it, but i saved it pulling out the classic episode 3 vader "NOOOO" move. they told me to lob it up because the horse couldn't see through his mask, but i guess i lobbed it over his head :$

but i did get to keep the ball! it was on television, in case anyone is interested in an authentic screen used prop :lol

I bet it was bloody hard to throw the ball suited up like that. At least you threw it too far rather than not far enough. The crowd's mindset would've been.......

Congrats, that's awesome! Reminds me of when it started in Boston and one of the museum employees dressed in a Rubies Chewie costume to throw out the first pitch. Despite our pleas for them to not do that they wanted the good guys on the mound (because here in Boston the Evil Empire represents the Yankees) so we couldn't really participate. Luckily one of our members did though (in her Rebel alter ego) as Princess Leia. That pic circulated all over the internet for months! lol

Nice! When it was here in Columbus I was on the ice during a NHL game with the Bluejackets. Walking on ice in a Vader costume is something I dont really want to try again :lol
