The Book of Boba Fett

Quick question.. I don’t dare fire this up again and watch.. but didn’t the bartender from free town say
they hunted him down in cold blood
I thought he mentioned something about killing him
then in the post credit scene vanth is in the bacta tank
Its not like he didn't know..
Unless he didn't trust Boba ?

Well about 2 things happened that I predicted LOL...

He rode the rancor and Vanth is alive.

I'm glad I went in with low expectations. It was fun, but I would have called this 'A Star Wars Story" and not Book of Boba Fett.

Really hoping for more Black K and hoping Bane isn't dead. Glad Vanth isn't. It felt very much like a Clone Wars or Rebels episode, which makes sense due to Filoni. Not that I mind that, but some things don't translate well into film from cartoon, story wise.

VERY happy that Luke didn't drop him off, but this just sets him up as an even bigger ass in my opinion. That was super cold. Yes, go ruin everything Luke. R2, you're still good.

The Rancor riding was awesome, don't care. Felt like kaiju fun, he even got a Kong bit...that was a little on the nose LOL.

Finally saw them use their damn jet packs! That was great. But I agree with the general consensus that the poorly acted biker gang needed to bite it.

Was a shame we didn't get Crimson Dawn and who tf tried to leak the Han cameo? Clearly they're stupid.

The baby totally has a calming gift, like Ezra could talk to animals. I think he will be integral in Mando riding a Mythosaur once we get to that point. The way he jumped into Mando's arms...

Last but not least: Told y'all he'd hit the noz! Bubs was set to break that window until his need for speed was filled.

All in all, it was a goofy, fun ride and was basically a live action CW/Rebels series. I still think the Mando story line is 100% better than what happens with the Skywalkers, so my interest is definitely way more in this than seeing what becomes of Luke/etc.

Yeah, if we find out in some interview with Favreau 20 years from now that Disney made him do this as part of his contract so they could shoe-horn in two new Mandalorian episodes earlier…and they gave him 24 hours to write the entire series, then it will all make sense.
Once upon a time JF was a killer Indie director...then he fell in with a bunch of Mice who dangled a very Fat Carrot under his nose...

You can't blame him can you..

Too much action to try and fit into an episode meant to tie the season together and cultivate a finale. It seemed more like a 90's video game than what we expect as a television episode in our current viewing world.

This episode just felt dumb. Also what is Fennec’s angle at the end? She felt like she was conveniently everywhere and nowhere at the same time throughout the whole episode
THIS IS AN INCREDIBLE POINT! Didn't even realize it until you pointed this out.
I guess the answer COULD be that she's just that good at hiding in plain sight? LOL

I get why she's the one that took out the city leaders at the end, since she's an assassin. I took that as Boba using his available assets.

It felt like it was going to be a reveal, but then she’s just happily walking down the street with Fett in the next scene, no discussion about it whatsoever.

This kind of reminded me of The Mandalorian Ep where Moff Gideon showed up..
If your Dug in its hard to maneuver out of a sticky situation but..

We got Action
We had Flying Mandolorians
The Rancor showed up
We had dodgy comedy but we got that even in the OG SW..
Boba looked quite Bad Ass and was All over the place as in set pieces.
There were Two Stand Offs
We got Heavy PM vibes with those Pyke Spider Droids..
We got Vespas but they seemed better this time..
We had to suspend disbelief but hey its a fictional show..

They have left the window open for Cad Bane..his read out was still flashing.
BK took a hell of a lot of damage but survived..
Looks like only a few scooter gang were killed.

And Cobb "IS" going to be a Cyborg after All!!.. Too good a character to waste!

The fight sequences weren't Always the best..I swear a Pyke was killed without being hit.

On the hole I enjoyed the episode
And we did get a BadAss Boba maybe not what everyone wanted but hey the guys trying to carve out a nice retirement plan..

At least he's still around and prolly owes a Huge debt of gratitude to All involved so expect him to show up in the future..

What a heaping pile of cinematic fecal matter that was.

What the ****** did I just watch??...

Why do we care about the Casino?? Why are we choosing to hide out at the casino?? We have a whole palace... with a ship... ah **** it..

Oh hey, Terminator robots in StarWars now.. why are those here?? an hell don't ask questions... Sure woulda been handy to have Slav... er 'Clone I' there.

Cad Bane's piss poor monotone dub over is about the only thing in terms of a comparison one can make between this show and the Clint Eastwood Spaghetti Westerns that inspired his and Fett's character... It sad... Almost as sad as what happens to Cad lolololol

Operation: "Reinsert Grogu into TMS3 for $$$$$$$$" is officially underway (y)

Literally the ONLY thing they had the balls to do this episode, they go and undo in a stupid Marvel end credits scene.... btw he wasn't exactly "gunned down in cold blood" either.... He just was slower..

Watching them just plot armor their way flying around and laying on the ground taking hit after hit was hysterical to watch.... Almost as funny as watching a guy with a jetpack later fall off his rancor and get stuck on his back like a turtle...

Now we're magically watching King Kong! Isn't it cooooooooool

I hate this garbage... Why has StarWars become this trash.... and thats what this is.. Trash... pure liquid trash.... If you enjoy this kinda crap, I want you to envision someone having picked up a bag of rancid week old garbage, one thats been sitting out in the sun and rain... and then envision that person willingly slicing off a corner at the bottom as they start guzzling the pooled festering putrid spew that has settled at the bottom...

That is what Disney StarWars is

Sighhhhh............................

I started watching an absolutely AMAZING show the other day... 9 episodes... 40 min long average... I knew nothing about the pre-existing characters, the world, what may or may not happen in it...

I'm Now on my 3rd watch through of it.... my 3rd....
The show is called ARCANE and its on Netflix...
I feel this is a fundamentally important piece of film and writing given how much heart and soul went into every single frame and piece of it. The character building, of which there are tons of, is phenomenal. They’re all relatable, and most importantly they’re all flawed despite themselves.. and that's on top of all its absolutely endlessly BEAUTIFUL cinematography
This is how you write and execute a TV show. This is how you write and execute lovable, believable, RELATABLE, realistic characters.
Episode 3 holds absolutely NO punches, and it is as shocking as it is jarring when compared to most “safe” media today, both in its impact on us audience members as well as its use in the story for sending the show and characters off the edge into some really dark and thematically interesting places.
I knew literally NOTHING about League of Legends going in other than it was this goofy looking videogame some of my friends at college were playing back in freaking 2009 while was studying manufacturing, and now they are some of my favorite characters in cinema..

Why on earth is this as good as it is?!?!

I'm almost angry that its so unbelievably ******* good

Jumping from ARCANE to Book of Boba Fett is the single most night and day contrast in quality and integrity in cinema. Which is rather bizarre having to say given wasted potential BoBF had for its character(s)...

Go watch ARCANE rather than this cheap soulless corporate slop. You owe it to yourself
