The Book of Boba Fett

I picked up on that right away.. sidious proudly burned it in front of everyone..

I’ve come to the point now that the comics and Books don’t count anymore.. live action has changed a lot of stuff
Going forward I guess its easier for the masses to focus on the present day Media..

No more RR for me… I don’t know how they can too todays episode for me

They gave me something I’ve wanted for a wicked long time
RR is directing the last episode. Not happy with it but we are also leading to a lot of action in the finale, which is typically strong suit. Though I want more “Desperado” from him and less “Spy Kids”.

While I think no matter what he does this will end up being a weak Boba Fett show, it’s rounded out to be a very interesting Star Wars show. EP 2, 5, and 6 will be rewatched many times over the next few months. If there is a S2 or the story continues in Mando S3 then maybe we’ll look back on this as more of a warm up for Bobas story. Like a 12 episode arc for him to ascend to the throne would suddenly make the pacing of his story here more understandable. In either case, I don’t think he’s going anywhere. They’ll keep featuring him in future shows, so it’s possible.

I feel like Boba is going to have an integral role in helping rebuild Mandalore. He has a kinship with Din now and a good enough starting base. He still has a sister out there somewhere and old bounty hunting friends.

That reminds me...where f$%# are Bossk and Dengar?? Last episode? With the amount of people they stuffed into this one...

She’s alive. Vanth is alive. I am certain of both.

Especially Vanth - he was clearly just winged. But was that intentional on Bane’s part? Not like him to miss, or leave someone alive that he wanted dead.

Maybe he was hoping Vanth would be scared, and convince the townsfolk to fall in line.
I hope so...I miss her assets

Vanth is definitely pulling a Clint Eastwood Beskar under his outfit and Bane looks so much like Lee Van Cleef ...
"From a certain point of view"

I keep wondering if Din hasn't got more Beskar chain mail for his pals..
There was a lot of Beskar in that thar Spear and it can't have used that much for that little fella..

Even if Vanth didn’t have armor, it’s going to be hard for them to justify him dying that easily after they brought Fennec back from the dead.

Okay so I’m a little confused about how Luke came into possession of Yoda’s lightsaber. He lost it in the duel with Sidious, and Kyrack just informed me that there is a comic where Yoda’s lightsaber is seen being incinerated with a bunch of other lightsabers. So what’s the story here? Yoda made a new one in hiding on Dagobah?
100% speculation on my part, but it's possible there were other smaller Jedi such as Even Piell or Yaddle who also used that style of lightsaber and the one seen being destroyed in the comic maybe was not Yoda's lightsaber.

In addition, we didn't see everything after from when Yoda fell fighting the Emperor to when he was in the shaft heading to meet Bail, he could have retrieved his saber or had more than one and he retrieved another one after Bail picked him up but before he left Coruscant.

Coincidentally I just finished reading that Darth Vader omnibus yesterday. This is why I've never been a huge fan of 'mixed-media' storytelling cannon. I like how the MCU and Marvel Comics for example are separate; the storylines can be pulled from the comics and translated into a movie format. Having Star Wars comics be cannon gets confusing because the way you tell a story through that media is extremely different and requires you to have read it to understand certain things in movies or shows (Black Krrsantan for example).

Tell me I'm missing out but this is partly why I've never actually watched 'The Clone Wars'. I know quite well who Ashoka and Cad Bane are but I'm not sure I'm willing to sit down and watch hours of a Cartoon Network show with that prequel-humour and annoying battle droids even if there are some great storylines and characters. I believe people when they say it's good but idk; I'm sure ill come round to it. Between the live-action, cartoon, books, comics and games it all becomes a little muddled.

You’re a wizard!!! Never would have I believed todays episode would have happened!! Never

I need your predictions for next week, though I’ll be sitting it out until Saturday. I’ll be cutting myself off from the internet, traveling to Florida to watch the last episode with my girlfriend

Mando and Boba go on a spiritual quest to Mandalor..
Bo k'tan returns at their hour of need bringing an Army of Mandalorians..
A one armed Mace Windu returns!
Solo and Chewie take out the Pykes base/ship in The Falcon..

Ep7 has the longest running time yet at 1hr 15m..

Madam Garsa returns...unscathed she's the Big bad Boss!

Oh and Tusky lady returns with a Lawrence of Arabia type "United Tribes of Tatooine" marauders in there hundreds!

Well, the actor has signed up for more episodes of "Justified"...so it's possible that he's dead:unsure:

Dave is certainly following in George's footsteps, retconning what's considered to be "Canon."

So my thoughts. The Luke and Grogu stuff was....okay. I enjoyed see the training temple getting built. But we know Grogu is going back to Mando, unless Dave is going to retcon the films, and really have Grogu be Luke's first student. Dave seems to be tossing aside the comics, but I don't think he toss the films so quickly.

But....guys.....Cad freaking Bane!!!!!!!! Oh man, Boba and him are going to have showdown...I can feel it......
