The Book of Boba Fett

I'm watching it now...

I guess this is Shamook’s first big job at LFL. (y)

That new Pyke enforcer was effing awesome.

And Garsa can’t be dead, can she? They didn’t hire Jennifer Beals just for that.

But the decided lack of Boba Fett for two eps now has me scratching my head.

I just...who...WHAT....WHEN.

First and foremost, I get what they're doing with the whole literal 'Book' idea. This is going to be a much bigger picture in the long run. Books have interludes and whole chapters, outside of the current story line, to paint a broader stroke.

That being said...

I do feel like Filoni lingers just a little too long. The new deep fake was MUCH better, but his voice is way too wooden.

CAD BANE LOOKED CLEAN. HOLY &%$#. Had a total Man in Black vibe! Pretty sure Vanth pulled an Eastwood/McFly and has an old oven door underneath his shirt.

Why do I feel like Grogu is just going to be sneaky as ever and just take Yoda's saber? You just see him pop up in the N-1 pod and take it out of his little jacket like a frog egg. Scene pans over the box it was in and Luke finding it. He either gives a little chuckle or is surprised. 50/50.

I also feel like the Han cameo is going to be him dropping off Emo-boy as Mando picks up the baby??

I think he’s really dead
this will force the town folk into fighting, I think the bartender will step up to new Marshall

I also think…
now if gogurt doesn’t want to become a Jedi.. ol’ unky luke will drop him off on tatoonie in the middle of a drug war.. good way for him to protect his old town..

It’s definitely just Mandalorian 2.5.

Though I will say this episode gave us a taste of how I think they want to handle things. It will be a large interconnected storyline with a lot of characters crossing paths regularly. Each show will likely continue this. I’d expect the Boba stuff to continue into Mando S3 as well.
So starts the cinematic universe, or TV universe if you will.

So, I really enjoyed this episode but without even seeing the finale, I will say that this has been a pretty terrible 'Boba Fett' show. The two best episodes don't even feature him at all and when he is on screen it's just him with his helmet off, standing over a table, nodding his head or taking a bath. There's been little action from him and all I can actually remember him doing was blowing himself up when he launched a rocket at that shield at the beginning of the show. Hell, I got more excited seeing that pig guard than I did Boba.

I am infinitely more interested in what Mando, Luke, Grogu and even that Sheriff are doing over Boba. When even the actor who plays Boba says that the writers don't understand the character and that he talks too much you know there's a problem; It's Mark Hamill and Ryan Johnson all over again. Lucas was right, it does rhyme. I'm still pretty excited for the last episode; all I want to see is Beta, sorry BOBA do something cool in his own bloody show.

Missed this post, I completely agree. They also mentioned that all these catchers will cross over into one another’s shows. Each character will receive their own chapter in this universe

I think he looked great. A little different than what we’ve seen before - paler, his face not quite as elongated - but I guess he is about 30 years older than when we last saw him in BB. But maybe he looks more accurate with regard to the Duros we saw in the cantina in ANH?

My take now is.. they continued the mando story on tatoonie and just quickly threw fett into the story

I thought by now you would have mentioned someone else who might be dead.;)

ha, I was thinking that myself. That guy was a great hire.

It's so bizarre that we started with Boba and the Power Rangers and we're now at Mando season 3. I don't understand why they made these choices.
I tend to believe more and more now the rumors were true about Pedro not signing up for season 3, and this was a quick idea to bring in all the characters with out him

I don't think Luke will drop him off. He's gonna be picked up.
