The Book of Boba Fett

Im curious how many years pass just between scenes now... they absolutely conveyed none of that.. 5 years with the tuskens and we got.. Dig for black mellon and kill Goro... Train with sick... Fight the 'Gun Train'.... and drug trip "im goin on walkabout" to top it off hes wearing the same clothes throughout, and like others already said, the Tusken kids don't age
I'm on my second rewatch and genuinely I am trying to figure out if they're trying to say he was in the Sarlacc longer than we think... in which case removing the scars is all the more dumb.. Its all just really poorly executed and confusing to the viewer, which is never a good thing.
Also continuity error right at the start. There's no Boba sounds or spurs when he's walking up on Fennec like we saw in Mando...
Maybe the sand is softer on Tatooine..

Plus isn't he wearing different boots ?...

He is but that doesn't negate the point that they used the sound effect in TMS1 only to just up and completely ignore its use entirely here. Thats simply bad/lazy continuity, even if the sound was just added to get us SW nerds jimmies rustled at the time. The least they could have done is the spurs effect. It could just be any number of tools in his cloak and or pockets doing that, but they didn't even bother

Easiest answer, lazy writing. I think the audience isn’t suppose to catch on to these things.. it really bothers me..
It was discussed earlier, but this is answered in the show... He doesn't need the bacta tank until AFTER he goes into the Sarlacc without any protection, looking for his armor. That was RIGHT BEFORE he shows up in The Mandalorian & just a short time before the start of this show.

Lets all pour a cold one out for LucasArts and PS2's StarWars Bounty Hunter who had the balls to straight '**** you' "She's called Slave I" after Jango stole her from the Prison on Oovu IV, destroying the rest of the prototypes and leaving her as the only Firespray-31 of her kind in the galaxy...

God that game even had better writing than both these shows... im about to go hook up my PS2 to wash this out of my mouth. I usually hate the flying around shooting crap thing, but we're 4 episodes in and Boba hasn't fired his EE-3 once... Night and day compared to how he is presented at the end of TM S2 even
Love that Game...I might join you..
Oh, no online gameplay! drat!

Better than the last episode but still very little plot progression for the 'present' story. The best bit about this show so far are the flashbacks; if they want to dedicate this much runtime to his past, then they needed to make the episodes longer or have more episodes in the season to fit in the current events. It's 75% past and 25% him walking around with his helmet off doing not much at all.
Yeah, I actually wish they just did the first three episodes solely on flashbacks. The back and forth feels jarring and anytime we are in the past, I’m less patient and antsy because I’m worried about his much time will be left for present day. The pacing in this episode was the biggest issue for me. They lingered too long on weird scenes like the droid chase and Fennec being healed.

Everything is just different than I was expecting. I’m far more forgiving of various details that I know drive people here crazy, but even with that I’m just kind of bored. If I write down the things that have happened in the story so far it actually sounds interesting. It just hasn’t been executed well outside of episode 2.

Like his keys to Slave1 :)

So why the hell did he think his armor was back in the pit? Did he completely blackout his escape? I understand being out of it when the jawas took it from him, but he has to remember getting out with it on.

And for anyone getting uppity about him describing his ship as a Firespary gunship, context matters. I doubt shed know what he calls his ship. If you called your car Lucy and told someone you need help getting Lucy back, would they know what the hell youre talking about? But she probably knows a Firespray model of ship.
I thought the same thing too. even if he was told the jawas took the armor he remembered torching the inside of the Sarlacc to get out in the first place with his armor on

Yet he remembers blazing his way out of the Sarlacc with his armor on? The whole reason why he went back into the Sarlacc is to get the armor that he forgot he had on? makes no sense to me but the healing process of the bacta tank helped him remember? idk

Misfiring synaptic fluid coursing through his Brain

Probably side effects from the halucigenes pumped into him from his time in The Sarlaac..

Chapter 4: Disney is and always will be a disgrace.

I like the Mandolorian. Sure, this series has weaknesses too, but on the whole I was quite pleased with it.

The Book of Boba Fett is making it harder and harder for me. I found episode 2 quite entertaining and also really interesting. Episode 3 then had too much inappropriate stuff (Mos Vespa). Episode 4 hangs on to a story that just ripples along. The revenge on the murderers of his tribe lasts 5 seconds and you waste time with stupidities in the kitchen. These are just the typical signs that now everything belongs to Disney and Disney has to be in everything.

For me, that's a problem, because I've hated Disney since I was a kid. Every Disney movie made me feel uncomfortable. Yes, I was almost embarrassed to have seen a Disney movie.

It's still not as bad as the first 5 minutes of TLJ, but we're approaching a line I don't want to cross again.

PS. What did they call the Slave-1? Didn't see it in English by now.

I’m confused. Where does it say it’s needed for him to survive? Not even in relation to your comment, but I’ve always assumed he was beat up and beat down but not dying or anything. He has a lot of scars and damage to his body that probably limits him, but I always thought he could easily keep living, just in a degraded state.

yet he remembers Bib screwed him over?
Thats what I mean his head is slightly fuzzy..these are more past visions but in no particular order Or just like a Jigsaw with missing pieces..rather like a trauma patient, they may or may not come back over time..
Maybe Bib did something soooo bad Boba has blocked it out but not enough to kill him ?

Anyways We have still not seen The Kingpin yet..

I thought that was terrible too.. he couldn’t survive in there in his armor, yet he goes in wearing his tusken bath robe lol

I don’t get it..

I do appreciate you explaining this to me though, don’t take me being negative towards you at all. I just am done with this series

Fire spray which is the model name of the ship

When I said 'need' I didn't mean it as in to survive, but bacta wasn't mentioned in the timeline until Fennec mentioned him needing one when he came out. Seemed to me like someone saying you need aloe after a bad sunburn. It explained his scarring being less until this episode where he supposedly doesn't need anymore healing from that damage.
