I'm such a McQuarrie fanatic, I recognized it immediately
I've seen the Ads Disney have put out/removed about SCE..No. It was a narrative design decision to place the land when they did.
And the upcoming Galactic Starcruiser experience has a more robust interactive design than just about any experience Secret Cinema has put on, and it ties in directly with the expanded story of Galaxy's Edge.
HOLY COW YES!!
i went for the first time back in october... what a incredible experienceI've seen the Ads Disney have put out/removed about SCE..
If your into Star Trek you'll probably love it
( that's the word on the street)
You can't really compare a $75 SS four hour Interactive Film event against a what is it ?
$6-8000 Two day experience.. But what SS did have was All the Legacy characters oh and Droids C3P0 and R2 and R5 were walking around interacting with us too.. The OG post said that Galaxy's Edge needed improving and was a little sparce on Actors thats what I was commenting on.
Yes Let's see Boba Fennec and Mando in Galaxys Edge!
I haven't been to GE yet but plan on going this year if all goes to plan so...
I really cannot wait!i went for the first time back in october... what a incredible experience

Something ticked in my head when I saw that scene. I thought, I've seen this place before, but where?.... Now I know!
They use that concept art in The Old Republic as well. Lots of Tusken shelters like that on Tat, with the struts almost like “ribs.”Something ticked in my head when I saw that scene. I thought, I've seen this place before, but where?.... Now I know!
I thought that the Hutts looked fantastic and they put in a lot of detail into their scenes to help sell their immense weight as well. If you look close, you'll notice that the platform the Twiins are on is bowed slightly in the middle, right where the 2 Hutts are. Then you can see at least one of the pall bearers squirming a bit, as if trying to cope with the huge weight on their shoulder. The concept art inspiration was a nice catch!
This episode was definitely much better than the first. I think Robert Rodriguez might be the weak link here because his episode of The Mandalorian (while significant) also wasn't anything terribly special. Competent but not much else. As I recall, he stepped in at the last minute for another director who had to bow out. Not sure how or why he got attached to run Boba Fett's show though.
I'm glad to finally see Hutts again in live action although I must admit I was disappointed they were CGI. Still just doesn't look quite right. I was surprised production didn't jump at the chance to bring them back in full foam latex glory or whatever they'd be made from these days. Oh well. I'm also not a fan of the Trandoshans for that same reason. They seem more expressive than necessary. I rather thought the the "blank" unblinking look was more creepy. Maybe Bossk was just a dullard. lol
I would've had no idea we'd be getting so much Tusken lore with these new SW shows but I'm not complaining! As mentioned above, I'm suspecting Fett has some tragedy coming his way, potentially by letting the syndicate folks go. There obviously much be some reason he moves on from the tribe and it may not be pleasant. I agree the dancing at the end could possible be inspired by Tem's Maori heritage. Definitely neat if so.
From watching the previews and clips they released, I am surprised that we still have some stuff from them yet to be seen. Rodriguez had claimed that the clips had come from the first episode of the show or something similar. The "dinner party" and recovery of Slave I come to mind at the least.
I thought “Tales of the Bounty Hunters” was a paperback anthology of short stories? So i have some info on why its taken the twins so long to take over...
vader slaughtered the entire hutt council, then right after that jabba died. so the hutts were really un organized and their power and control was all over the place..., its taken some time for the twins to make their mark and name for themselves, but they are here now and have some pull..
this comes from the tales of the bounty hunter comic
