I kind of find that hilarious, I seriously have the feeling by the end of this series he will be dead
I honestly don't know but I think it's possible. It has occurred to me that this could all be a backdoor pilot to bring Fennec Shand to the forefront.
Official concept art has been released...

Digging the throne with him in his OG duds

Yeah, the new duds have grown on me a bit but I still miss the OG look. I've said it before but I still sorely wish they had gone with the Mythos style for a post sarlacc Fett.

For me, REAL People and REAL costumes will always be better than CGI, hand drawn art or anything else. That's why i love the OT...even though the special effects seem better now, they felt more real to me then...even when i rewatch them.

I wonder at what point when drawing this they remembered that he has a jetpack.... Remind me, why does he wear his helmet in his own thrown room but will walk around in public without it on?

Also I actually kinda really dislike the "Samurai" armor display Boba has got going on here... and I know I'm gonna probably come off as a whiny bitch, but hear me out.. The trades guy in me just feels like this particular kinda thing comes across more as fangasmy crap a collector would be more prone to do.. (no disrespect to us fangasmy collectors ;)).. Much like that guy in Solo's Mando armor display was.. Or even perhaps more devout Mando's like Bo... (though given they're all kinda sorta in hiding I guess that doesn't work either?)

Boba's not a goddamn samurai... and Jango sure as **** wasn't either... They were working trades craft guys... One a actual adopted Mandalorian later turned Bounty Hunter, and the other a Bounty hunter not long after the age of 12...
IDK about you guys, but to me that armor and everything with it on that display, as cool as it is to us nerds, it is just glorified equipment and tools at the end of the day...
Meaning when it's not in use, it's cleaned and stored out of the damn way until I need it again.. Not on display to be ogled at liketh a nerdy fan..
Jango sure as **** seemed to feel that way about it... I know I complained about "Jango II" but seriously, Throw that crap down on the floor next to the suitcase and ROTJ style ee-3 if not in a closet, loll. And I know Boba has a whole 'honor his father thing' but that's honestly already covered where hes continuing to wear it.. No need to take it further

Hell it's gonna take him an extra 5 minutes alone just to undress his goddamn mannequin to get into his own ****.
Point being with all my bitching, these concept arts I feel show an interesting, if not rather concerning trend which has been expanding greatly since Mando Season 2, and that is in stepping the away from being footed in the realism and believability of the casual day to day activities that would otherwise go on in their world no different than ours, including our own characters logical actions and behavior. That's something StarWars 77 managed to capture incredibly well on screen. Everything in TMS2 and BoBF seems very fantastical and "oohhh ahhh"... be it in mindless action or visually dramatic/nostalgic scenery which has no overall point within the story (rEmEmBeR tHiS??)... Stuff I usually refer to as "jingly keys" for the audience.

Least he's got a cod piece I suppose

i was going to mention that but ya beat me to it, i totally understand your point of view though, dont think your out numbered or coming off as a whining b%tch

Now that you mention that, I remember the scene where Boba is suiting up and it looks like his armor was rubber. The chest armor looked like it flexed when he was putting it on which Durasteel or Beskar would not do.

That's the problem when you already have the show moving slow(even the fight scenes seemed slow) and then you slow it down even more by having him dress up and the camera focuses even slower and your eyes are able to catch things like that. ...

I've never worked with a prop department but look at all the man hours that went into sets...props...makeup..etc for the OT movies...it was unbelievable...just like cartoons from the past, all scenes hand drawn...etc...people put there heart and soul, blood , sweat and tears into making things look as realistic as possible. (Not to say people don't work hard now but computers help a ton)

It may be quicker, easier, and financially beneficial to pump out props now but the quality of them may not be as good as in years past even though they " look" cool and accurate.

Case in point is Boba Fetts armor in ROTJ looks 100 times better and more realistic than in TBOB. Looks weathered, used...the current rendition is pristine looking...very unrealistic to me.

It's like going to a job interview for a farmhand wearing a tux...umm, next interviewee please.

...but, it seems like Boba (aesthetically) went from an 80s death metal band , all rough and ragged to, " i've quit the drugs, shaved, cleaned up my act and am now touring with Michael Buble singing jazz"

Nothing wrong with that, just not my cup of tea. I'll stick with my 80s rock and roll...lol (i just like when the look feels authentic, that's all, and is comfortable in their own skin).

One last funny thing...reason i don't Cosplay? No matter how i would love to look like Indiana Jones, be like Indiana Jones, look great in a Fedora and Leather bomber...I still look like a dork and my wife agrees and as fans of movies, we can spot things that appear abnormal and out of place...no matter, i would still choose an out of place, clean looking, pristine, Boba Fett with a real actor inside over a painting, CGI version..etc...and yes,...i'll take puppet Yoda over CGI Yoda any day of the week.

You can see the collarbone section flex big time when he's fighting the space ninjas in the street. It's front and center, can't miss it once you know it's there

Add it to the pile of low-quality blunders alongside Fennec's parkour sneakers and the random bald guy who's clearly not Temuera strangling the monster at the end
