The Book of Boba Fett

So.. instead of predictions I want to know everyone’s opinion because this seems to be a hot topic

… ep6… we seeing luke and gogurt? Or are we skipping the meeting and seeing that in mando s3?
Well Mando said he needed to go visit a "little friend" first so presumably he's gonna do that before he helps Fett. So unless the conflict with the Pykes gets pushed back until next season, I think we'll like see the meeting. I can't imagine it'd happen offscreen. So that'd mean even more screentime for Mando. lol

Yes, as Wolfsburg said, Mando is going to "say hello to my little friend" first (sorry, couldn't resist)- I'm not sure how any of the current plot lines will be resolved in the last 2 episodes (annd... we wait until TBOBF season 2 in 2023?)

Same here. I honestly don't know how this is gonna resolve itself. With only two episodes to go, we can't afford more filler. Perhaps Fett will continue to muster allies (if any classic bounty hunters or familiar faces show up, I'm gonna guess it will be in this next episode) interspersed with Mando travelling to see Grogu and whatever transpires there. There's a fair chance deaged Luke will be there and possibly even Han?

I honestly don’t think we will see mando go meet luke and gogurt.. and how the heck does he know where they are?

I have a gut feeling we will see fett recruiting, and setting up for the big battle for ep7..

Idk.. that’s how I felt, and I’d be amazed if we do see Luke

Sure wouldn’t mind like teaching mando how to use the dark saber though

I hate the character.. go ahead all throw your tomatoes at me.. I refuse to call that little green b@stard by its real name …
But he’s sooo cute and sells tons of merchandise…

S1 E5 was 99.9% all Mando in a Boba Fett series with two episodes to go before The Book of Boba Fett season one is finished.

As it has already been said - S1 E5 seems more like S3 E1 of The Mandalorian. It really didn't move the Fett story along except for two lines of dialog.

So with that said - stay with me here - does anyone but me think that TBoBF S1 E6 and S1 E7 WON'T show the final battle with the Pikes, but save the final battle VS the Pike for The Mandalorian S3 E1????

Mando gets asked to join Fett, and he's in, but first, "I gotta pay a visit to a little friend."

Since the majority of TBoBF has been more "Boba Flat" than anything, this will get people fired up and talking.

TBoBF S1 E6 split between Mando reuniting with Grogu, presenting his "gift" and half is Fett doing more recruiting.

S1 E7 is the hired guns ammasing and maybe dealing with a Pike spy in the newly renamed Fett's Palace. Mando shows up and dispatches the spy. I can see the last TBoBF episode ending one of two ways -
A.) a few seconds right before the fight/battle/mission takes place
B.) after a few minutes of furious fighting, one of our secondary characters gets hit, goes down, and it's not looking too good (Fenic again?) and at that point the screen goes black with...

TO BE CONCLUDED IN THE MANDALORIAN SEASON 3

Are John and Dave that bold?

I feel like this whole series is set up for season 3 of the Mandalorian. That's its entire purpose.

I think that's very likely. I'd heard Favreau(? I think?) describe BoBF as The Mandaloran season 2.5 and in fact the internal episode numbering continues from season 2, as opposed to starting over as you might expect with a new show. Sadly, it really looks like this show was perhaps just a stop-gap.

It's crossed my mind (see above) and I'd say that's possible... although I'd really rather that not happen! Lol!

I suspect something is going to happen. We know Dave Filoni is directing. So if we don't get Grogu, I imagine we have Ahsoka, Rex, or Cad Bane showing up.

I think he's still off world training with Luke..

I'm calling.. not only do we see Han Solo but Chewbacca as well..
After all they must have known each other working for Jabba during his smuggling times.

Here's my predictions...

Luke WILL, in fact, be in the episode, & he will do one of two things...

He will either teach Mando something about using the Darksaber, maybe just that one line or two that makes things click,

OR...

I THINK HE WILL COME BACK TO TATTOOINE & FIGHT, not necessarily 'for' Boba, but to rid Tattooine of the Pykes.

Don't care if you like the idea or not, but hear me out. Peli said that since they'd been running spice, everything had gone to hell, & law enforcement were too scared to do anything. This is Luke's home, & I think he'll feel responsiblity to come back for three important reasons.

1. This is his home planet & he knows how hard life can be here.

2. His mission to save Han killed Jabba & left the power vacuum that allowed the Pykes to move in.

& 3. He's a Jedi. Protector of Peace & Justice in the Galaxy. This is the EXACT type of mission a Jedi Master would've taken his Padawan on before 'The Dark Times'.

I personally think that Boba's new 'benevolent' way of running things will be the lesser of two evils & the word of mouth that Boba Fett is running Tattooine, but there's a Jedi protecting it as well will be what ultimately legitimizes Boba's reign.

I'm making spaghetti tonight, so feel free to throw your tomatoes. I need them for the sauce. LOL

My predictions for Episode 6:

Mando visits Luke and Grogu. Luke is so reliefed to see him again and begs to take Grogu with him because Grogu has eaten up his whole food supply. There is no drop of blue milk available within 30 parsecs so that Luke had to switch to green milk which he has to import from Ahch-To for way too much credits. Now the kid is going for creatures taller than himself. He even started speedruns with Luke's X-Wing to satisfy his desire for racing and to find some new harvest ground. Force ghost Yoda too complains because the child will not listen to "a strange old guy who does not remember how to form sentences correctly any more". Din talks with Grogu and explains to him that he cannot take him with him because he is up to help his pal Bubba to spoil some baddies wearing fancy masks. Grogu immediately clings to Din's leg and does not let it go any more. Din is left with a difficult choice: Either cut his leg off to get rid of Grogu or take him with him...

OK, and in Episode 7:

Din and Grogu arrive on Tatooine. They help Bubba to get rid of the Pykes. All plot lines are resolved. There is more than enough time for that because the final ep is 350 minutes long. In the end Grogu sneaks away and eats the Rancor. Fennec finds him sitting in the dungeon, wiping off his mouth. She puts down her rifle, smiles and says "You little rascal!" End credits.

Post credit scene: Loki arrives through a dimension portal. Garsa welcomes him and when he asks her where he is she responds: "In a galaxy, far far away." Loki grins and says, "I think I'm gonna like it here! Do you mind me bringing some friends?" The Avenges theme is playing - fade out.

:p ;)
