The Book of Boba Fett

I don’t think we will see “The Hutt Twins” again…

I heard a rumor that they have accepted a reality TV show offer from the TLC Network….

oh boy im a huge fan of krrsantan! not only has he worked with fett but... spoiler warning about krrsantan in the comics

there was a section in the star wars series that flashed back to kenobi watching over young luke, jabba would send his goons to collect water from the moisture farmers, and collect their taxes. the goons were taking advantage of the lars family.. ironically the goons weren't making it back to the palace.. jabba would send more goons to see what happen to the pervious gang.. they never came back either.. he then sent Krrsantan to get to the bottom of it where he met the desert nomad face to face and had it out. if you look when krrsantan appears last episode his forehead has a scar over his eye, kenobi gave him that scar
Holy Mama!! Okay!

I literally did a face plant myself today thanks to my Chocolate Lab...lol...thanks for your comment...I feel like i have a new family here. It would be hypocrital for me to tout Luke Skywalker as my favorite character and not have the hope that "there is still good left" in this series. Tem is keeping that hope alive for me right now, i genuinely believe him as a character and love his charisma and attitude he brings...he's a real winner in my book and Ming is fantastic too. They work great together. Instead of having "more cowbell", i'd prefer "More Garza" lol...hey, somebody get on that Tshirt slogan right now....What do you say Halliwax ?
Surely thats just a quick photoshop away.. :D

Well, just watched Ep 3 and hmmmm.......not sure I'm liking it overall (WARNING - SPOILERS AHEAD)......

...the 'teens' on the bright coloured speeders...blah.... the back story is interesting, but Boba wants to learn how to ride a Rancor...blah....I was not a fan of TM when he played Jango in the prequels, but he's actually saving the TV show so far for me.....I know it's SW TV and not SW Movies, but it just doesn't seem to have the 'spark' that Mandalorian seems to have,...maybe it's the character, maybe the scripts, but it seems to be on the edge of falling into a pit of lameness...

Anyway, early days, so maybe it will pick up...I realize it's super challenging to create new content in the SW universe and it will never please us all, so fingers crossed they don't ultimately F it up.

If you haven't seen Once Were Warriors with Temuera Morrison, then I suggest you take a look, it's a little brutal in parts, but worth a look.
If only they had toned down the colour scheme on those Scooters and made those darn kids less pristine it might have been a better fit..more SW less LazyTown.. certainly when we were teenagers yeah we had the cars the bikes but we were also a bit grouchy not so Fresh out the box..
Its been said before but yeah maybe they were trying to emulate the 50s rocknroll vibe like GL did before but in the desert there's that little matter of Dust n Sand..Remember Rey on her ride.. All togged up mask etc thats the look they could have at least tried..

Personally I like Vespas

I want to see John Woo direct an episode of Boba Fett/Mando. Think he still has it in him to make a good gun fight or is he too old now....he may be retired.

100% completely agree.
Rey "What just happened and what is that?"
Moz "That was Luke Skywalkers lightsaber that he got from Obiwan that he got fom Lukes father when he chopped his extremeties off"
Rey "how did it end up here?"
Moz "Luke confronted his father and while he was holding it , got his hand chopped off"
Rey "ok?..so...how did it get here again?
Moz"that's a story for another time...i will never get to actually explain that part to you, so just accept it..it's really insignificant anyway, we just needed to create some dramatic effect."
Rey"that's ridiculous...where was Luke when he lost his hand?"
Moz"cloud city"
Rey"I heard that a notorious Bounty Hunter named Boba Fett visited there once...Han told me it was an icy situation, maybe it will be revealed in his book."
Moz"what book?"
Rey"the book of Boba Fett"
Moz"you have that book"
Rey "yes, of course but i'm only on chapter 3 right now"
Moz"how did you get that book?
Rey"that's a story for another time"

Watched episode 3 so I guess my opinion on the show would be this: I've never been a fan of Boba Fett, always found him overrated. Though as seen in OT, he had that mystery that I appreciated, not toe mention the fact that Jeremy Bulloch was a great choice for the enigmatic character he portrayed. I liked Boba more in Mando and didn't quite like his clone story in the prequels.

That being said, the Book of Boba Fett, since it would remove most of the (remaining) mystery of Boba, should have brought something more to show why he was such a good bounty hunter (maybe will show in the future). Will not discuss further not to spoil things, but the series seems inferior to Mando for now, still I watch it and I find some good things about it, and some bad ones. Even with the bad ones I find it way above the Sequels. I hope the good ones will be more in the near future, and the story to gain true momentum, not like the Vespa chase on Tatooine.

I like the show so far. Have to watch chapter 3 this weekend but chapter 2 was really adding some lore to the universe. Still the ST nearly killed Star Wars for me completely. Mando did his thing to bring me some SW feeling not only on the screen but with creatives behind the camera who implemented new tech and have a passion for the OT.
