When it looks that great with just primer, it's a winner! Gorgeous!

Auriga, was not really serious. If you made it to scale with The Betty, you'd need a 2 car garage to display it. :)

Edit - What kind of primer do you use?

Thanks, i plan on getting the garage in 2011, so you never know.

I wish you success on the garage. The size of The Betty is (for me) huge already. That would look so cool, built, and suspended from the ceiling with some LED spotlights on it. Similar to this posture.

HOT Damn she's looking sweet Al.....

Oneye - I'm guessing it may be a tad on the toxic side for use at home. Love that Duplicolor!

Thanks guys.

As for the Dupont primer, its an automotive primer. And i would need that garage, and a compressor to spray it. And it is nasty stuff, definetly need a good respirator when spraying it. But it would only take one coat of dupont to do what a can of duplicolor does. Its great stuff

Thanks guys.

I didn't think anything would bother you but kryptonite! I can't imagine you needing a respirator. I bet you could hold your breath walking across the bottom of the Pacific Ocean! :D

I got the engine arm roughed out, needs a little bondo and primer, soon as it stops raining i can get this sprayed.

Thanks for looking. Al

This is going to look amazing. I wish i had the patience, i love spaceship models but don't have the temperment for doing all this work. That and i barely have any tools.

Thanks guys.

Yeah takes a lot of patience, and you don't really need a lot of tools, just some basic stuff, rulers, exacto, square tape measure, start slow and keep adding to the tool box, before you know it you've got quite a collection
