The Batman

Not sure if this has been posted, but here’s a deleted scene with Joker.
Are they kidding with that Joker. I actually can't think of words to describe how bad that is, Dayum ! Removed portion deemed unsuitable for sjw consumption.

P.S. I guess Jarod Leto is not the worst Joker after all, SMH !

I thought it was pretty well done. But then again I don’t hate everything that gets released so IDK.
Dude, I wasn't replying to your post but to the video. And I don't hate " everything " that's released. Just the things that suck ! Which is pretty much everything these days, so maybe you're right, after all, LOL.

Here's hoping he takes some time hits the gym and puts the mass on that the role requires.
The slenderman parts of the movie were jarring enough to take me out of it, during viewing.
Talking about when he's mapping thing out on the floor with the spray paint.
So scrawny. Just not the physical presence he should have been. Thought the movie was good.
Too long for sure. Penguin, want to see more of. Riddler too serial killer murdery. On the
right track ?. Maybe. Barry Keoghan as Joker. Not convinced. Did not like him in the Eternals.
Could have been the film not the actor.

I saw it the other night when it came on PPV. As a Nolan trilogy fan I went into this with an open mind. It wad good, and Pattison done better than I thought he would. Not as good as Bale but much better than Affleck.

I thought it was long drawn out and just stagnated quite a bit. The storyline didn't seem to fit the running time of the movie and could have been made a better impact if it had been a bit shorter. The Riddler was a bit of a let down and quite a weak portrayal IMO.

However, I will say that I think a sequel would be good, but you would need Phoenix in as Joker. The dark tone of both Batman and Joker films felt very similar which was a positive and could lead on to better things. However, some people are thinking the Joker is being overused and they should go with another villain. The scene of Joker ( and also the cut scene ) was well acted out but I think they need to use Pheonix. People are getting a bit sick of rehashed and differing storylines and I think they need to settle on continuity between movies.

They have perfect actors for Batman and Joker, they need to use them while they can.

Joachim Phoenix is a great 'Joker' actor. But in the movie we saw, his Joker was not compatible with other Batman movies. That character was not an evil mastermind. He would not defeat or take over a criminal syndicate. He would not be Harley Quinn's other half. He would not be the head of a terrorist organization. Etc.

They made JP's Joker sympathetic by totally changing him.

That wasn't the Joker though, it was a completely separate story about someone in face paint. Now it was a very good movie but you could have done the same thing with different face paint and a different title and nobody would have been the wiser.

Funny thing is, I think JP could have made a very good regular Joker in a Batman movie.

But his 'Joker' movie sold a billion dollars. The sympathetic JP Joker version has been imprinted on pop culture too deeply to try to change it.

They could make a sequel where the JP version continues turning more evil. But I don't think that would cover it. His character would need another few dozen IQ points. A different background with more useful education/skills. Etc.

Sometime actors can do a wider range than others.

Health Ledger? Great traditional Joker, and he probably would have been great in Joachim Phoenix's place too.

Jack Nicholson? He was a stellar traditional Joker but that's his limit. I could not see him doing the sympathetic vulnerable version.
