I don't think it's wrong to want to resell copies either,the way you worded it just made it sound a bit like you're disappointed the new run was successful. Anyway I'm happy more people are now able to get this and that I can support an indie production company

They extended the sale until September 30th and after that they announced on Facebook that the printing has begun. So it is in full production now.

That's a great prop... I'm not really that much into Horror movies and I usually see movies like that years after they were in theaters. So, that means, that I never have an eye on props from horror movies at the release, even if I decide that the movie is worth it to own some props from it. So sadly I missed both runs...

I saw some books on ebay, but I guess they are overpriced, like most, what pops up in the bay. So, anyone would like to tell, how much these were at the release?

I only have the second edition, and it’s great. What are the quality issues?

It is unfortunate that some pages are not exactly like the ones in the film, there are some differences. Anyone notice that?

Really, can you post some comparison pics? Didn't order a second one, since I was really happy with the one I have now...

I had to sell my original one as I needed money at the time, but I really missed this prop which is why I jumped onto the second edition.
But I don't know if the cutter they used was "over used" or something, but a lot of the graphics aren't cut properly.

Mmm, I took a look at my books (I still have two ) from the first run, And on some places I see the same issue, but not as much as in the pictures. With a sharp blade you can correct this, I guess, but indeed it shows a lack of quality control in the run.

My books are still in their boxes. I guess a book stand would be the best way to display it, no? Something like this:

Yeah kinda want to have it protected, and up on the wall, been trying to find a shadow box with a hinged door, but kinda difficult to find it at that size in a decent price!

I believe the movie was out well before the first run of books were done. I would say the run was about a year after the film came out.

They did do a second run, though if I recall correctly, they didn’t hit their target goal on the second run. I think too much time had passed and the people who missed out the first time were no longer interested. But they still went ahead and finished the run. I’m sure if there was an overwhelming demand with the second run, they would have planned a third, but that won’t happen now.

Yeah the movie was out internationally, but had only been released in France, when the pre-order for the books etc went up. Hence so many people angry for missing out on the DVD/BR Release. Feels so long ago now though that details might not be exact.

I do miss the copy I had (sold it to help out a friend). Doubt I'd buy another though. Was a great piece the original run. I recall you got your hands on one too.

Well, my dumb ass canceled my order early on as I gave up on the long wait. Then I went to my buddy's house (another RPF member) and saw his that just came in.
To say I regret my decision is an understatement.
If they do another run, I'm in.
